Sorry that passenger was such an ass. It's rare, but I still get the occasional comment on my being gay...having handled those comments for 40 years, I have my favorite comebacks. Those comebacks are satisfying, but afterwards I get furious. If I weren't in uniform, I'd have a whole different ways of reacting.
Steven, I applaud you for your strength! I’m not there yet in my journey. I do not tolerate ANY type of bad behavior from anyone, especially when someone talks about your gender, sexuality, religion or race. I am working on how to be “nice nasty“! I will let you mentor me thru this process 😂😂

I actually don’t think that she should’ve told you what he said(it was God’s blessing that you didn’t hear it)that does nothing but start drama..he said/she said stuff is for high school kids and I’m glad that you stayed professional even though it got to you a little bit when she told you and as he passed by you. FA here and I’m can 100% agree that getting passengers to simply wear their facial masks properly and for the full duration of the flight(s) during COVID19. Whew. Glad that you made some extra money. 🤗🛫
Yes, I would’ve never know if she never told me. From my experience, passengers don’t speak up because they’re scared of retaliation from others. Maybe, she thought that it was safer to tell me as everyone was deplaning. I totally understand what you’re saying. As far as that mask mandate….. we lived thru a very difficult time! Thank God that time has passed 🤞🏿

God created each one of us, the color of our skin does not matter to him. And the color of our skin isn’t going to get us into heaven, it is our hearts that get us into heaven. It saddens me people like that passenger behave in a racist manner. I hope you submitted a report. If it were an ATL flight, that pax would’ve been thrown off the plane 😂

Did the passenger say something back to the other passenger? I think it was weird he/she told you after-the fact but, apparently, did nothing at the time. Glad you remained calm and professional. There are mor*ns and imbeciles all over this world. That passenger with the wonky, bulky legs apparently was one of them. There was a quote from the movie "Jagged Edge" that's appropriate here - that passenger? "He was trash."
