  • Hamish S. Osborne and Christine C. Osborne are among the founding supporters of the Program in Lung Healing at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Mr. Osborne’s diagnosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis resulted in a life-saving double-lung transplant at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He is the only reported patient to survive retransplantation after contracting a rare fungal disease called pulmonary mucormycosis after his first single lung transplant.
In this video, Hamish Osborne talks about his illness, and what led him to support the Program in Lung Healing.

I knew Hamish in college at the U of Arizona. He came to Tucson from Central High in London with his dear friend Maurice Cook. "Mo" and Hamish were inseparable freshman year and were true friends throughout college even when Hamish moved into a frat house later on. Hamish and Christy dated during college and were a sweet couple. I'm sad to see that Hamish developed this disease which ultimately took his life. I am, however, happy to see that Hamish became successful in his career and became a true philanthropist in his later years. Happy to have known you, Hamish. You and Mo can now have some great fun in the great beyond. Long live the English Twist and Day of The Triffids.

At this point i'm still very shocked with the negative result I got after suffering from pulmonary fibrosis for so long. Thanks once again Dr.Ogudugu on RUclips for your medication.
