I along with my wife were shifting to bangalore for the first time and directly from airport we landed to the pg address, only to find there was no booking done. Despite asking him multiple times, he did not share booking details. I told him that I would be with bulk of luggage with me, so give me booking details, for which he always replied that booking is done, he will share at the time we arrive. On complaining about this to their managers, they were very casual like it happens, we will give feedback to the employee. This was such scary situation for my wife, she cried out of stress. They asked me to launch request throught their app many times, but there is a loophole, if there is no booking you can't even reach customer care service department. The executive name was Rinku. I would say it was their company culture because of which executives have guts to do this. I met their head of the maketing department, they behave like a goon in front of camera, on office premise. In front of me he scolded entire floor to go back to work. I mean, they are basically not afraid of anything doing unethical. And when I went to nearby police station, everyone were like 'Oh! Colive PG'. The gesture was like they have been recevieing lots of compliants from this. I even dropped message to their special escalation team, CEO connect email mentioned in their website but needless to say, its of no use. They don't know how corporate world works. I guess this is everywhere nowadays, as a consumer we should be very aware of what we are getting into. Lesson learnt. But it is hurful to see a normal people to post video like this, which promotes such a unethical business. Obviously, I understand their point of view as well. They got the taste of opposite to what I got. So they are right posting about it.
It's not about your wanted something and found it. It's about you found something and wanted it and hence made up reasons to reject others and choose this one. Whatever be the case, this is a good choice though.

Because it was cheaper than staying in a flat. We were already living in a flat so we knew that costs are higher when all the expenses are taken into consideration

Don't go for colive. There are unforeseen consequences. I was in a similar situation a month ago. The sales executive does not book the property after paying the booking amount. He promised me before I transferred the booking amount that I will get a refund if I dont like the flat. Oh i forgot to mention their employees physically attacked me on their office premise when i went there asking for refund.

These prices are crazy, if normally u rent 1bhk in any house rent is Max 14k for furnished, and 10-11k for unfurnished..
It's not 14k for fully furnished, it's almost 25k minimum
Don't forget food and other services, electricity, amd no hassle of maintenance etc.
