As a child of fertile alcohol syndrome addiction has followed me thru out my life in myself my own story of addiction and in others. 2014
I got sober. In sobriety my 32 yo son died from addiction. God and the 12 steps of recovery have saved my life. At 50 yo I am resting safely in Gods arms.

Im a full time caregiver that works 7am to 10pm and your right, i dont take care of myself so much that i worked myself out of medicaid. Also the work insurance i have is terrible. They want $800 for my short acting insulin. Yes im struggeling. If i reduce my hours i loose my car and then i won't be able to pay the bills. So im between a rock and a hard place. I'm praying for your healing. A grieving process is needed. When I lost my mom it hurt so bad. I didn't take time for myself or to grieve. I went into auto pilot where I just worked & pretending like everything was ok. When really I felt guilty inside bc Idk how to grieve. It took a little longer to be able to cope w it, but my counselor helped me. She gave me a grief book & a journal which helped w info in it & to get everything out! Prayers to you, ik it's recent. Just keep acknowledging it, feel it, & then give it to the Creator. 🙏🏾💓

I'm come from a blended family. My father and stepmom are elderly and not doing welll. I am the mediator and peace keeper. Collectively, we are moving them from an unsafe home to a safe place closer to my retired stepsister. The six of cups card brings the feelings of getting back to roots, the foundation. The tree root one fairy is sitting on then the root from a vegetable between them the other fairy sitting on the beatle/cockroach bug. It seems the one on the root is trying to bring the other fairy understanding of the roots. I have always intuited the 6 of cups as family ties and nostalgia. My 26 year old daughter is having life and death health issues. Five of wands is that reactive energy for us because she just spent 9 days hospitalized. I had to calm that Reactive energy in myself. The whole family ( I have a very very large family far and wide) wanted to help to know what they could do. It took a lot for me to be calm and reasonable. The queen of wands well I have a sunflower tattoo not to mention shoes, clothes, artwork, and more sunflowers are a favorite of mine. I feel the fire being re-lit in me. My grandmother who has passed about 11 years ago and I was very close to taught me my fire. I got paid very well. My daughter simply needed me more than I need money. I brought myself back to basics and realized no amount of money is worth my daughter not having the support she needs. She hit her cell phone and didn't notice it light up, I noticed and the time was 2:22pm. I am on my path and so shall I walk it with honor, through the good, the bad, whatever. I've always looked for natural healing and health. I know a bit about herbs, tinctures, and foods. I realized my daughter needs natural foods so that she can start to heal. I'm going through some very turbulent emotions because changes I'm deciding to make in my life because I can feel myself hit what I would call a 3rd spiritual awakening. I am learning to balance care giving (social) and also working in my art studio (solo endeavor) I am learning to adjust my pace and volume and energy when needed for my parents. Wow. You nailed it. I helped way too many in the family....feel used to a degree. I gave and gave....have now stopped that. Not signing any more morygages....want to be free. I do hibernate lots since Iost my hubby a year ago. Yes, I wanted to help family members....and I did....but I have changed directions. More a verbal support now. I have neglected my needs...but I am planning to do some travelling, update my wardrobe, join clubs that help me.
