So i got this yesterday it’s dope asf🤦🏽♂️ I’m running studio one. The only draw back is i can’t tell what chords are being played that takes away a little from creating. I was thinking of many ways to get the chords so i can strum them🤷🏽♂️ the sounds are dope doe. I just want it to sound natural in my daw like someone really playin the keys. Not got lie great product just need some tweaking for some Daws.

I got sauced just watching this! It's a great, unique plug in! The chord generator is really cool! Took me like 7 hours to download with my new fiber optics, but only 7 seconds to install. This is a huge improvement from Octave, which I just bought 2 weeks ago, and didn't love. Only 2 hours of trying SCORCH, and I think it's my favorite! THANKS

It's great but it sucks it doesn't have every scale for its chord generator. If you're making a song in a scale that isn't in the generator but wanted to use it well you're out of luck.
bro can you help me out I bought this and tried out the chord generator and the keys make no sense in relation to the note your playing vs what's generated. I saw a video you put up and you put in the midi on the chord generator and clicked burn midi in fl to get the actual notes but that doesn't work at all
This plugin is so inspiring, thank you for this and for octave deluxe! The chord feature is an awesome addition, it could just be a little bit better if we can export a midi of the chords for each chords presets (like NI playbox do for exemple)

Yup! I'm going to make some tutorials today which you'll be able to find on our support page saucewareaudio.com/pages/support but it's really simple in most DAW they have a function called "Print MIDI" which will export the chords. Yup are you using the AU version inside of FL Studio? If so please use the VST3 version and this will fix the issue. Both would have been installed, but because plugins show up in alphabetical order AU is was probably selected. If you need a tutorial or anything please email support@saucewareaudio.com thanks for you patience!
So.. i figured it out on FL studio. All you need to do is send midi to a channel like you do with other vsts just pick a random numer i do 2-2 and then itll acually burn to midi. check out my beats if it helped lol :)
Yo so honest review. The chord generator isn't super useful. The chords are all over the place and don't sound very good together. I would just use Scaler or Cthulhu. Not sure how you guys composed these chords but they are not working musically. Also plugin is slow to change presets at least a few seconds.This is with a thunderbolt external solid state hard drive where all my samples are stored on an 3.8 ghz 8 core intel based iMac with 40gb of ram in Logic Pro. that alone kills inspiration. A lot of these sounds aren't unique(especially the guitars) and some just sound cheap like they've been ported from omnispehere(again especially the guitars). Buyer beware!! Not sure if you guys offer refunds, I don't really care for one but maybe you should offer a trail a few sounds so the people can decide if they like or not. I would return.
🫥🫥Has anyone her successfully opened they’re personally made a scortch presets??? Once I make a preset and save it I open the cat up again and when I go to load a preset, I see them but, they’re greyed out, I can’t figure out hope to open them and I’m not getting and response from the producers of this product. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks🙏🏻
I second this review. They also don’t include natural minor for every key so you have to manually render and re-pitch everything. Which is a workflow nightmare and makes using a third party plugin like scaler more of a necessity than a convenience. In some cases it’s easier for me to just play or draw the notes in manually lol. It’s not something a beginner would be able to use as easily as they make it look. Plus the expansion packs cost more than the plugin. Overall it’s alright but imo misleading how it’s marketed
Also can confirm the patches taking forever to load. Borderline uselessly long to the point where I simply switch to a different instrument plugin. I am running a brand new M2 MacBook Pro with 24GB RAM and the samples stored on my internal drive directly on the laptop. Takes at least 5 seconds just to load the next preset.

Are the chords in the generator playing the major/minor of the selected mode with the played root note?
When you export the midi's in FL by hitting burn to midi, it doesn't export the chords. Only Single notes.

Nope you can use your laptop keyboard… u just need to enable that function in your DAW
