This is the best Christmas lighting in Cleveland. We go here every year sometimes twice once in no snow and once in heavy snowfall. You have an excellent video camera. And walking instead of driving makes it enjoyable to watch. Thanks for the upload and many many thanks to the Seabury street residents and everyone in Fairview Park, Ohio, the most lit up city in Ohio!
Some additional comments… The house at the beginning, with all the dogs. They have a few of their own, and are also big time dog sitters. Hence their setup. They have worked hard on it the last couple of years. Their house is just fantastic. So much effort, so personalized, so unique. The house with the Star Wars, the spaceship pulling Santa is the Millenium Falcon!
Ugh! I was watching for you to walk past 21753 Seabury, and just before you got there you turned your camera to the other side of the street. I used to live in that house in 1972 - 73. At 25:28 you can see it, it had the 4 or 5 white spiral trees in the yard. I was going to show it to my 97 year old dad who bought the house about 1970. It was an old farmhouse, the blight of the neighborhood. He completely remodeled it inside and out. We live in another state now, and miss Cleveland and the surrounding area terribly. It was still nice to get a small glimpse of it though. Thank you!
Awww, I'm sorry I didn't capture it better, as something like that are exactly the obscure personal touches I hope to provide people with besides the lights (i.e. I've had some people reminisce about my West Blvd videos). Thanks for the insight, and I'm glad I at least got to show some of the memorable neighborhood for you!
That is one of the older houses in town, as you probably know. We've been on the street for going on 28 years. The person in your house was there when we moved in.
Just watched the whole video. Great job. On the west block where you ended, we play music on weekends, and weeknights at times. The sidewalk arches power the hanging motifs and radios. Sorry the music wasn’t on for your walk. (P.S. My wife and I are the proprietors of the Elf Tent.)
I did hear music throughout the walk -- I don't know if it was on at every spot, but I definitely heard it 😊 Thank you guys for putting it on and helping make it a great walk & video!
I did start turning the music on on weeknights, as there has been a lot of walkers and with kids. Couldn’t remember what nights / when. Glad you got to hear it!
Thanks for visiting us. Come again on the weekends when we have the Elf Tent open. We have hot chocolate, Magic Reindeer Food, and carousel rides for the little ones.
I believe it is at the 10:00 mark of the video on the left, with the red lights surrounding the front yard. They didn't have a sidewalk, so I went into the street. Unfortunately, I didn't show the house itself; they must not have had any lights up, so it would've been dark.
