It's a good thing it wasn't dark when you saw those faces in the dumpster. If I had seen them in the dark I would have about had a heart attack. Lol
Mike. That bundle of white tubes are nickel / cadmium batteries used in emergency lighting when power goes out in shops and so on. I have some 10 years old and still work great. Rechargeable.
That was a pretty deep box I think you only got the first layer of stainless caps didn't dig after the you got the 5

Just wondering if the things you set outside of the dumpster for later pick-up ever get taken before you get back to claim them?
That box you got blue things out of went right to bottom of bin must been another layer there
Richard Williams that is what it looked like to me too, just a layer of cardboard packing in between layers.
That is what I ve been thinking too, the box was to deep for just one layer of parts

Those things are frames for a door you look through. I call them windows
It looks like a new one of those Body Frame Repair Kits goes for 460, clean 🧼 it up 🆙
That body frame repair kit ,is what we call a Jig in the U.K. and it’s used to straighten out chassis to stop the car from crabbing they are usually hydraulic now ,but it will be handy for a amature car enthusiast ,great vid mr Mike 👍👍

Probably all you need is an appropriate hose, and some jack oil! Used one of these many, many times, starting in the mid sixties. Great find! Clean it up, and try it out...should be quite sellable!
I just got a trunk just like that !!!! That’s awesome. Lol. I got mine from a trash pile and it looks brand new. Same color and all.

I believe in paying the security guards to watch over my scrap. That’s why they are there right. 😂😂 a good electrician never leaves copper behind!

That money hole at 13:35 had another layer of those pipe caps in it. You only grabbed one of two layers.

I have had an old trunk like you found that has been in our family since it was new that now holds all my house painting supplies.
Yep it pulls and aligns the frame I've used it once when I went to school for collision repair. My instructor was scared we didn't have the chains hooked up right. Pulling frame is a dangerous situation

Always finding good scrap Mike! That orange box contains what is called a hydraulic ram kit and 1 ton is the weakest version, 4 ton is much better. The spreader is called a duck bill. The seals are probably shot. I started working in body shops at 18 and ram kits were one of my favorite pro-toys. Slap $30-$40 on it and see if it sells!

Those square machined Aluminium plates are seriously expensive ideal for use as beds for 3D printers. If I was in US I'd bid you for them 😊

That tool in the red box is a porta-power .It is a hydraulic ram and the wedge one is for spreading.

Mike you guna have to sort out a trailer for the truck use the truck for scrap and then trailer for the timber so you can garage sale the timber

boxes that lock, and a bag full of crap. snibbits of wire, and steel window frames. big aluminum caps, and trailer leaf springs. these are a few of mikes favorite things. lol! edit; dude! that porta power frame repair tool is a real find. what do you want for it? i'll buy it right now, where do i send the money?
It is a dandy tool for a user that knows how to use it. I have watched many "trashed cars" become good runners and drivers under proper use. Definitely a good find.
I'm 67 years old and I remember when my dad bought his porta power tool. That was about 45 years ago. I had 3 sister and we work in that garage with our dad fixing wrecked cars. We use ours all the time. Good tool to have.
@@carolynm7-28 I am 73 and had a friend who rebuilt wrecks also. The key to using the potra tool was recreating the accident in reverse so you pulled what was pushed. I watched many restorations that were amazing. Truly an unique tool no user would ever trash

Used to straighten frame rails and body panels on a car we call that a porta power in the US
Those metal squares are actually for installing glass, wire or tempered.
3/4”ply wood in a roll away...I’d so be fetching that crap!
And making more than one trip for that stuff
What I was thinking... pull the nails and Craigslist at $25 each.
