Government of Local Unity fails to pass budget in Joburg

- The Government of Local Unity in the City of Johannesburg is at loggerheads over the metro's R83 billion budget allocations presented by Finance MEC Dada Morero. The group, consisting of the ANC, EFF and the PA, failed to come together to vote and ensure that the budget passes in council.
The city's Public Safety MMC Mgcini Tshwaku explains.

There's no such a thing called "government of local unity"
Just goes to prove these parties are totally useless. DON'T VOTE FOR THEM! Look at what DOES work and who's responsible for it working! No one is perfect but at least go for the best there is... it isn't this lot!

Anyway, the comment above is about education and the biggest mistake leading to the 2024 polls is DA electing a semi-illiterate to lead the party.

According to STATS SA, the Western Cape is by far the best governed Province in the whole of SA, thanks solely to the DA!!

If the budget doesn't address those issues which some were supposed to be addressed last year, the budget won't pass 🤞💯
And if that happens, the municipality might end up in administration.
