Why does the audio sound like it was recorded from a $199 Video Cam’s on board Microphone? Wow! SMH!!!

Because the sound on the stage sounds different from what the audience hears because now a days most of the players are using personl monitors that look like hearing aides. They dont necessarily hear everything just the instruments they need to hear that will help them play their best. For example the singer may hear himself, some keys, bass, a bit of drums, whereas the bass player might only hear himself, the drummer, keys and guitar and just a little vocal. The speakers facing the audience are mixed for the audience to hear the whole group balanced. Also the audio usually recorded straight from the mixingboard if its a live concert. I addition the might actually go into the recording studio and fix things before the video is released.
