U probably know this but for any others who come across, it’s not the spin, it’s the set up for the spin. Either A, player reaches across and the situation creates itself or B, you’ve convince the defender your attacking the basket which makes him intercept your driving lane in which you spin off of. X did the second 1
@@tysonrn2543 Exactly. But don't understimate the balance and concentration required to make the jumpshot after the spin. Also I see very often people do a 'carry' while spinning, holding the ball in the crook of their arm.

Tbh I love watching this video. It show’s the importance of how to play with more aggression but with skill. With the limited amount of dribble it keeps you always on your feet. No room for delay dribbling. Love it 😊 fast thinking, more strategy.

@@jjsalcedo191 yeah idk i'll say i've behaved this way with friends on the court and/or in the ring, its excessive and it happens, even if it isn't intentional, but its understandable once you reach a certain level of competitiveness its just part of the game.. Its obvious they are friends and they definitely squashed after as friends would do.. Im not saying its ok or that it isn't excessive, but its bound to happen at this level of competitiveness.. Gotta have thick skin and understand that its part of the game, if you take it personal then you already lost.. Same reason why trash talk happens in the ring, but after fighters will still touch gloves and/or bow to each other before and after the fight, or at least be expected to... The trash talk, the intimidation against competitors is all part of the game..

JLaw listen up man! I've watched many of your games on here. The way you can beat X is by 1. Not dribbling, just shoot. He's strong and quick so he throws you off balance whenever you drive. You have a solid jump shot, rely on it a lot more! 2. When you get near the hoop, use a baby hook shot. Don't spin, don't fake, don't pivot, at most u can bump him a little to take the hook. Doing anything else is a tougher shot and X is explosive so he's going to contest really well. So just do a baby hook and use your body to keep him at bay. Trust me w/ the baby hook man! that's my bread n butter. I'm barely 5'10 but I can score on almost anyone w/ that shot (drop step into the lane + baby hook or don't even touch the ball w/ the other hand, just pick up off the dribble into a hook) and I play in SoCal! If u listen to my advice, mention me in your vids!!
