This is the Kawai K1m synthesizer module that I bought new back in 1988. It has some PCM sounds (I believe 12 bit) and uses "additive synthesis". I have used this desktop module in production and out live for years. It's been through a lot and still works.. and once in a while I will hook it up and use it. It's multi-timbrel and you can assign a midi channel to each single sound in a multi sound patch, but poly-phonic wise.. you are limited and you can pick up that limitation when you listen to my instrumental video.. how the notes "cut" off a bit. One work around in regards to that, is to use heavy sustain and reverb on the chords.
