  • When charging, the EcoFlow Delta 1300 fans will kick on pretty good. In this video, you get a sense of the charging fan noise. I recommend not keeping this plugged in in your bedroom, otherwise, it kicks on at 3am and will wake you up...I promise. :)

I am so happy I just found your awesome channel. I subscribed, of course. I have been searching for an easy to use, battery powered, non gas and non oil back up for my stand up freezer that looks like a refrigerator. I wanted something that would give me many hours of use without having to change oil or use gasoline. It seems like this would be the one. I admit, am not very savvy about these things so I need it to basically be plug and play. Watching your videos, I think this one would work.
This is a BIG purchase for me so I want to make sure I do it right.
Question: Can I just charge this Generator and leave it in the garage until (if the power goes out) I need to plug it into the freezer and save the food until the electricity gets turned back on?
I have been everywhere trying to find help and your videos are the first to give me the information I needed. When I went to Lowe's and Home Depot they just looked at me like I was some silly girl dealing with things that are above my head. One guy even suggested I get my "boyfriend or husband" to come in with me. Thank you so very much for making these videos so even a "silly girl" can understand them.

Thanks so much for your kind comment and subscribe! You won't go wrong with the Ecoflow Delta...it's a crazy impressive battery. And yes, you can just charge it up and leave it in your garage until you need it. It will slowly lose some charge over time, but just make sure you plug it in and charge once a quarter (every 3 months) and you'll be fine! Good luck!

This delta is nice. You can keep it plugged into the wall and the freezer plugged into the delta. If the power ever goes out, the delta kicks in automatically.

Thanks for this... I just bought a Delta 1000, which I guess is the smaller step-sister of the 1300... and it's charging and the fan noise is pretty loud. I was wondering if it's okay, I guess it is! lol. I have a River Pro, and I think maybe it makes a similar fan noise when charging, but not quite as loud.
I have read complaints that the fan on these runs when it shouldn't. The River Pro has the app, and they did a firmware update early to stop the fan running all the time (which draws down the battery). Have you noticed the fan running all the time? thank you! I subscribed. :)

I really wish it has a slow charge mode, with the fans at their lowest setting. At least I can hear myself think while it is charging then
