Mel just getting rid of ciggie in Nick of time😅, love how open he is, 'star's today way too guarded of their fame and ego's. Mel knows he is a huge star and doesn't care about manufacturing an image or worry about losing his fame, he just enjoys it. Nice interview 😀
Shane wanted Lethal Weapon to stop at the end of two with Rigg's death on the ship. Shane played Hawkins in Predator but was mostly there to help rewrite the script if needed.
@@jameshoran8 Apparently his original, incredibly dark script for Lethal Weapon 2 ( _Play Dirty_ ) was the proudest thing he ever wrote. However, they decided to go in a more comedy-infused direction and so much of the bleakness and tragedy was sanded down with Jo Pesci's role significantly increased.

Even back then, you could see crazy and menace in his eyes. No coincidence he was picked for the part of Martin Riggs, a psychologically unhinged character who had difficulties to control his impulses.
I can barely listen to the interview because I can’t get past how GORGEOUS he is 😂❤
Lots of Gorgeous Antisemitic Lunatics Out there 😂❤
Anti Semitic like the Israelis?
Such a good looking guy! ❤ You don't see men with hair like that these days.

He's one of few migrants to Australia who actually had a link to Australia (his paternal grandmother).
One of the best Aussie American actors in the world mel is Legendary. Up there with the best.

Still got the aussie accent here.
Thank you Mel for all your Australian movies,
Mel has become a very important man, without measure,God protect Mel Gibson and Jim Keivesal!!!
Caviezel
Mel Gibson and Paul Hogan in the 80s; I believe were a major reason Australian actors and actresses have now become part of mainstream Hollywood.
Thanks for uploading this. Weird to see the interview from both cameras but not edited together.

Is there a sequel?
Yes 3
Lol yea, and if they make another one like they are saying, then there will be 4 sequels.
Only Mel, can make smoking look cool.
Brando and Dean did it first. Check out Streetcar Named Desire and Rebel Without a Cause. They blow Gibson away
@@chiefscheider personally Mr.gibson, style is a whole lot better. Brando and Dean, where great no doubt about that.

Would he do a sequel? lol what else is he known for?
That is such a Shane Black thing to do - to write a final joke for film fans into the script! Reminds me of the way Last Boy Scout ends.

Shane's title for Last Boy Scout was originally Die Hard. The producer took the title and used it for Die Hard.
Alpha male interview 🚬 😂😂😂
❤😂
Mel always seems fed up from doing interviews.
something off about Mel here, like he doesn't want to do the interview
This lady is a lousy interviewer......never understood how she was ever prominent in the business
Bobbie had a reputation for being pushy with her clients, almost like a passive-aggressive interrogation.
@@incognoscente I've watched lots of interviews with her. My guess is he is just in a mood/hates doing these things in general.
