Fuel consumption - towing 3.5t is misleading whilst it can there is a limiting caveat for 'most' trailer owner/users. It is a shame Mitsubishi missed out as the 'rest of the truck range' which can all pull 3.5t without any small print

What’s the small sprint? I’m not educated to towing all it’s all new to me.

Tom .This is the small print
**3.5t towing capacity is possible with 3 axle braked trailer; 3.1t towing capacity is possible with 1 or 2 axle braked trailer; 0.75t towing capacity is possible regardless of the number of trailer axles or trailer brakes
It is a shame because all the major manufacturers [4] are capable of the 3.5t tow. Ssangyong/Isuzu/Nissan/Toyota It doesn't get my vote. Sad because I run a 21 year old L200 and it is a magnificent machine. Mitsubishi missed a trick here which is odd as the Gross vehicle weight is the same or near enough as the others. I won't be replacing it with this although my intention was to. Most probably why they cant sell against the others. It also lacks a rear diff lock unless you go to the none super select 4wd [which is part time 4wd] - but then [it] you are without all the bells and whistles. Sorry state of affairs they are ejecting from Europe too

Commenting from Australia. I’ve got a gls premium. By far the best car in the class I’ve driven. Value for money and performance ✅

Off-road capability? Hill descent function? Off-road modes? On-the-fly shift to 4wd modes? Review and benefits of 4h?

Mines more of on road / casual dirt review. For anything heavy off road, I don’t have the experience to comment. :)

Don’t worry - this truck makes it easy for you with the driving modes. Switch to 4h on a normal road when under 62mph and you’ve got 4wd on the move - great for hitting sudden poor weather conditions. Huge selling point and only truck with that capability, I believe.
