You should make measuring spoons that all have labels like how some recipes are written
“Heaping tablespoon”
“ pinch of salt” etc.
Those exist already, they have measures of pinch, dash, smidgen, etc, but I'm sure if he released his own version people would buy it.

He should just release a whole line of Aries cooking supplies. “Too sharp knives” “oven gloves that work but they’re a tiny bit too thin so you can feel the burn a little” “mixing spoon that helps you splatter stuff everywhere and makes a big mess”
I would so buy the Aries Kitchen-branded version of these. Can we also get a towel that will not sit squarely on the oven door and a silicone mat with footprints in case we want to do a box jump?

I feel like he got more careful over time because of all the times Jenna yelled at him and possibly because he doesn't want her to worry if she watches the video and that just makes my heart happy. Like he's still chaotic but not in a dangerous way.

PYREX vs pyrex: PYREX (upper case letters) is borosilicate glass that is far more resilient. However, pyrex (lower case letters) is soda-lime glass that is less resilient and a cheaper type of glass.
I know this is kind of late, but this is actually really interesting. It never occurred to me that there would/could be a word that meant two different things depending on the case it's in.

@sporelore In the US, PYREX (upper case) tends to be older pieces of glassware as the company split that caused the names to be differentiated happened in the mid-90's.
Apparently borosilicate PYREX (upper case) is still made in Europe and can be imported; I am unable to prove that for myself, but must go on what others have said.

There's a Hungarian dish which is fried Mushrooms, fried cauliflower, served with mashed potatoes(sometimes with some kind of fried meat). With a mustard/mayo dip. 🤤 This makes me think of it.

Okay but like, Demetrius has a point for once. Mushrooms are kind of incredible. I fell down a rabbit hole a few years ago about the health benefits of different kinds of mushrooms and have been growing blue oyster, golden oyster, lions mane, and turkey tail for over a year now and I'm trying to grow more. They are fascinating and one of the best foods you can put in your body.

I had to start eating dairy free and plant based due to health issues. Was always super scared of trying it because of sensory issues, but your videos have really helped convince me that plant based can be really delicious looking and isn’t terrifying to try

7:20 fun fact: pyrex dishes with lowercase letters are actually counterfeits! and julien is correct, they can’t withstand heat as well as their genuine counterparts. be wary if you plan to use a fake one for a high-heat recipe!
MEASURING SPOONS.
- A regular teaspoon, and then a Vanilla Teaspoon, which is twice as big, because vanilla is like garlic, universally.
- And/or maybe actively non standard measurements that are usually very fluid, like a pinch, or a dash, or a splash.
- Maybe make them a different shape? Still nesting, but not spoon shaped. Like an Iggy Paw shape or something.

the glass for lowercase pyrex is manufactured in Serbia, so it isn't so much that its guaranteed inferior rather the weather leading to more tempering inconsistencies
King Oyster mushrooms are another Oyster variety that I really enjoy as far as meat substitutes go. They are bigger and thicker than Blue Oysters and so retain more bite when cooked.
