I so love the orderly, organized manner in which these ceremonies are conducted. I noticed that the Duke and the Duchess had different, concurrent duties to perform, so everyone had the opportunity to be seen and greeted. And it was such a beautiful day to boot! ❤

Two of the ladies in the last group seemed completely oblivious of proper royal protocol even though they knew they were to have the honor of meeting them personally, showing up in baggy trousers and not a curtsy in sight. Sadly unmannerly.

Edward is what we in Australia would call 'an absolute dag', but it's meant with a great deal of affection. very happy to see him and Sophie taking on more public facing duties. they're a credit to the monarchy.

I was in Edinburgh on Friday, May 17, but I was not able to see the Ceremony of the Keys. Unfortunately, I left on Saturday morning and also missed Prince Edward's appearance at St Gilles Cathedral on Sunday.
