This track was even better to experience. It's like a breath of fresh air in a game full of dreary scenery and monsters out for your blood. Play Kings Field IV if you haven't by this point, you're only doing a disservice to yourself if you don't.
Whoah, I never expected to get so much love from the king's field community! thanks a lot for all of your comments, it's hard to keep track of them all. I really appreciate every musical piece from almost all FromSoft games, and decided to make extended versions of KFIV songs because there were almost none of them here on RUclips.
@@tomatogenesis i would rather not share this space with that lame youtuber's stupid fans because thats all they talk about, all "X brought me here" comments in general are useless, boring and annoying, everyone who leaves them sucks. none of them want to talk about the game, very few actually try it, even fewer appreciate it
You sit by a quiet forest. ... The world is damp, and dark, ... colourless. Yet here you are, ... such quietness, such ... innocent silence, ... it's blissful. Away from the sounds of swords clashing, ... and magic blasting.
The moment you are stuck in an underground dungeon and you need an escape. You are low on health and lost, you find the twisting staircase going up, up, and another room. You wonder is it a trap? Am I too far? Is there an escape from this dreaded place? And then you are up and another corridor and a door and you see light outside. And then you exit into the forest, the save statue is also finally there and the music starts playing. With all these soft green colors and trees and fog and a new environment like I am in another world. Was an experience when I first played this game and knew not what to expect.
Honestly glad someone has the ost up here. Someone who had them up for years just recently deleted them, so it's nice to still be able to hear them with your vids.
Let’s be honest. If there was the souls series comment system that elf would be surrounded by messages like “Fingers but hole”, “Behold lover”, “Seek Grass”, and for the true Demon Souls OGs “Sticky White Stuff”
no it fucking didn't stop making shit up, the drakengard composer literally just took a bunch of classical music symphonies and cut out all the scary parts and mashed them together, it is loud and terrifying and this sounds the exact opposite way

Out of all the lowball comparisons I see on these this one is one of the silliest. Drakengard doesn't have any calming soundtracks, they're all just raw unadulterated bloodlust, dread, terror, death and adrenaline put to music, and it uses symphony orchestra samples while this game seems to be mostly folk instruments
never played this game, didn't know of its existence until last night, but my god I'm so glad I discovered this track. It's hauntingly beautiful.

@@Knastus257 well, they tried it with Demon´s Souls... thankfully they trully missed it and made something event greater.... :D

Someone making a kings field 4 ost extension in 2021?? Fat W
I love the soundtrack and felt like there weren't many extended versions of many songs.

I wish this forest was bigger, I like to look up into the expanse of trees and picture a maze that leads into a abandoned forest folk living area

And the much funnier, "Don't you dare! You're not kingly..."
Ever thought of extending the main theme? I absolutely love Dark Reality and having a different version of it on loop would be great. :)
I forgot the name of this game so I couldn't find the ost, I've spent 2 years trying to find it again. I'm happy I did
The chilling one i would say. The most beautiful place in the game, working maybe even better than majula theme.
Reminds me of Silent Hill 2 ost but with it's own quirk.
You're safe here.
the Kings field games are rare and super expensive in the UK, I have KF2 on disk- got a steam deck on the way so I can finally play KF4 !!
This soundtrack sounds so much like Elder Scrolls: Arena its uncanny.
Arena had soundtrack? Lol

Honestly this sounds like it belongs in Super Metroid.
Not really.
Drakengard most likely took inspiration from Kings Field because their ost’s are pretty similar.

You got it the wrong way around.
No, this is way more of a soothing dungeon synth

You wouldn't happen to have a download link for this extended version would you?
This is Druid music
Was the Wise King wrong?
Hello just heard this music in an elden ring video and looked for it. What genre does this game fall into? Im very curious now
Very classic first person action RPG, very slow paced retro fantasy game
@@MultiGMan94 very slow paced you say? damn :x
Look up the dungeon synth genre. I recommend fief.
