What if your plugs are on different circuit breakers? Does it only work for items on that circuit, if so what do I need to do to have it work on all circuits in my house?

Our suggestion would be to connect the panels to the circuit breaker that is drawing the most power. Otherwise, an electrician would be the best bet to connect the two together.
