it seems like you guys have a skewed expectation for this anime. this is a comedy, not a super serious thing like re zero - apples and horshoes. this anime is one of the best comedy anime out there but if you have the (i dont know if 'wrong' is the right word) expectations, then you are going to end up dropping it and not realizing why so many connected to this anime and you didnt. this is not a serious anime with serious situations. drop those expectations or its just not going to work for you. i dont know if i am explaining it right. just seems like you are, to use an example, watching a comedy with the expectations of a drama. just doesn't work lol

Oh just so you guys know, when Aqua used her "God blow" punch against those frogs and it wasn't effective, it's not because she's weak, it's because she had a horrible matchup 😂 Those frogs are *completely* invincible against blunt force attacks (yes even those of a goddess), so that's why Kazuma's tiny sword was way more effective than her punch.
Was that it? I thought it was because her attacks are all automatically set as water based attacks and they are immune to those. Saying that I haven't read the light novel or anything so I'm no authority here.
Fun Fact: Aqua's voice actress is Sora Amamiya. She's also Akame in Akame Ga Kill and Chizuru in Rent-A-Girlfriend. And she's HILARIOUS as Aqua. And Megumin's voice actress is Rie Takahashi who is also the voice of Emilia in Re:Zero.
This anime is super trolling anime,you have to know and understand a lot of Japan cultural things,isekai stuff,mmo rpg things, cause the jokes are based on this and if you get it it will be priceless 😂
What makes this anime good is how funny it is... So if you're expecting something kinda serious....this ant for you.... When I watch it, it feels relaxing and comforting as I watch the crew having an adventure. The best way to enjoy this anime is to sit, relax and just empty your mind!

Konosuba is basically a parody of Isekai anime. And that's ironic because I personally consider it to be one of the best Isekais, so basically it's one of the best in a genre that it's making fun of. Sure there are some great ones with amazing plot and character development like Re:Zero but Konosuba just has this special comedic charm to it, you can really tell the voice actors were having a blast while recording this, especially in season 2.
