I owned an original '74 for years and in all honesty, I would probably be just as happy with one of these. It was my gigging guitar for most of my career, it needed a fret job, the electronics were getting wonky, but man, the mojo was pure magic. Sat down with one of these the other day and it was like a time machine. They really got it right with this one. The neck, the pickups, the sound. It was like holding that old guitar again but brand new. I always have to remind myself, the '74 wasn't vintage when I got it, it was just a great guitar like this one! Hahaha! In 50 years some kid will be going "Man, these vintage '24 Tele Deluxes are amazing!" Hahaha!
I have the Telecaster Custom but am loving the 2 humbucker sounds in this demo. I don’t regret my purchase but if ever got another, it would be the ‘75 or the ‘72
I just bought one and I'm experiencing some really bad microphonic squealing when running at band volume. Is this common for the Cunife pickups as they're unpotted?
Interesting. I did not have any microphonic issues, but I did end up having one of the pickups die on me. Fender covered it under warranty. Is it in both pickups or just one?
I own one, and the neck and pickups are worth the price of admission. This is a very heavy guitar in more ways than one, but they got it right.
Haha heavy is right!
I picked up an original 73 telecaster deluxe recently. It's been my dream guitar for years. Love the pickups
That’s awesome! I’d love an original but this one will do for now.
@@averagejer the reissue sounds magic. I fancy a set of the pickups for my reissue starcaster

Is the part you play an original composition? I really like it.
Would be cool to hear some blends of the pickups besides just 10/10

What song is that at the beginning?
It’s a backing track from Paul David.
