I like 501s 505 505c 502 513 and 511. I have a pair of 511s from 2016 which are very slim. I like the pair you have as the colour and shorter length looks really good.

Nice!! Yes it’s indeed the most versatile fit & I’m usually basing most of my other fits on the same measurements ! It’s just proper timeless not too skinny not too flat not too wide.
I find them a bit slim but they are an elegant cut. I could live with buying 1 size larger than usual to fit my soccer playing thighs but i find the rise too low (even on 1 size larger); if it had the same fit with a higher rise, it’d be perfect!

I also have straight jeans from rag & bone (fit 4 - slightly more relaxed than 501, same DNA) and several Japanese selvedge brands. Helmut lang straight cuts are also a favorite though hard to come by. What can Isay, I’m a denim fan! Another option for a hgih rise relaxed are the E. Zegna jeans from the 2000s. A nice flattering fit.

Is there a size difference between blue and black Levis 511 slim fit? Is the same size 36 for both blue and black? Because I bought the blue 38 size, and it seems to me that they Are to comfortable for me. And when I tried size 36 black ones, I could not get into them. Tnx
Hey I’m not sure of this, but sometimes jeans may have different stretch to them or maybe a case of mislabeled item - yet I’m pretty certain there should not be any difference in 511’s based on Wash / color.
@Minimalist Men Thanks! Just one more question, does the Levis 511 run big, the mens 511 30×32, measures 32" in the waist rather then 30". Maybe this is due to vanity sizing. Are the 511's prone to stretching or shrinking? Thanks again!
Hey so its waist first followed by inseams, so mine is 32 W 30 L (as I like cropped). They do tend to stretch more with wear I could have sized down to 31” waist !! But they fit true size in the hips & are relatively comfortable!!

511s are my favorite current fit but they are a bit snug over my boot tops. 513 slim straights fit over boots better but have been discontinued.
I have never tried a a 513 - will keep an eye out if I see dead stock !!

They definitely are neutral / classic with a mid rise - not a low rise so you can go for it !!

About 84cm 32” in fits most of the times but levis 32 differs mainly on stretch as well as fits, so do try imho! Hope this helps.
