Because it attracts lot of international fans, the Japanese also suddenly curios why Hololive can get so many overseas fans. So they come. @@DBT1007 Pretty much, you can really see the vast difference in Coco, Kurone and Pekora' fanbase versus the Nijisanji fanbase. Tsukino Mito is still one of my favourites but there are barely any overseas fans being seen compared to the community in the Hololive streams. That being said, Nijisanji is more laidback and give more freedom to their users (from what I have heard) so this isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Also if you look at it Nijisanji is like the casual streamer while Hololive is the Idol streamer so by default Hololive gets a more dedicated fanbase compared to a Nijisanji.

It's not about the company, it's about how strong your relationships with other livers can be. They also greatly care for their livers, such as when Chitose retired. Why let her retire, right? It's such a waste. Well, they still let her go. And member count doesn't affect quality, they are just overshadowed by the newer generations. That does not mean they are bad. The fact that there are over 100 members means that there are many to choose from. They are all different spices, just choose one you prefer the most. If you prefer more, then watch more. It's true, Nijisanji in its early years was absolutely.. not very nice. But as time passes, it eventually improves. Sure, it still does mistakes but nothing is perfect.
They have so many collaborations and inter-company promotions that I'm pretty sure they are completely fine with each other. Matsuri is basically the front runner on everything there, because she has been collabing and building bridges with almost every Vtuber agency around. She collabed with like 10 different Nijisanji members by now(especially Yashiron(27 & JK) and Hoshikawa Sara(who she famously has/had a crush on)). Subaru is basically the reason Maimoto didn't quit and became big. Korone collabed with Debi. Also with Sasaki Saku one time. Choco collabed with Gibara. Pekora and Himawari respect each other and watch each other's streams all the time. Noel, Subaru, Shigure and Sister Claire collabed on Tamaki's channel. Marine and Ange did a Dream Club playthrough together. Aqua collabed (and fell in love with) Shiina. Okayu also collabs with Shiina, because they have the same mama(illustrator) and thus are considerd sisters. Haato had some... interesting streams with Hoshikawa. I think you get it by now. They are pretty friendly.
