I just started one wall in my living room with making branches using drywall mud..and now you came and opened whole another way to add to my wall..what to say..glorious outcome as always, but somehow you find the way to wow me every time..You're the best❤❤❤
Oh my go... That is sooo beautiful. I had no idea it would be possible to create something like that. I shall do a chinoiserie piece of wall art to start, nothing too enormous, that will look stunning in my guest's apartment here in France. Thank you Lel! Inspiring as ever.
I'm sort of allergic to chocolate at times so I just stole little pieces from the grandkids....they had enough to start their own supermarket. I can't wait to do something with gold. I had it in mind last June...nothing like letting something fester 🤣🧡🤣
My wife, Maryka, suggested I watch this video and I am so glad I did. What an incredible transformation! A real triumph; truly. Outstanding artistry. Best regards to you, Lel, and Martin.
You create the most stunning pieces in such a casual humble way And inspire even us novices to believe we can... Thank you for the wonderful techniques that you share Love the piece and the music at the end 😍
I love Chinoiserie pieces! And I’m obsessed with gold! This is a beautiful piece! So unique with the colors and hand painted look. Definitely one of a kind❤️ I have an old piano bench that I will try this look on. Small but not too small but not too large as I’m afraid I’d bite off more than I could chew doing this on a big piece🤷♀️ Thanks for your continued inspiration Lel! I look forward to you Sunday tutorials🤗
Yes keep it small Cassandra not that it's difficult it just gets a little monotonous going round a larger piece .....thanks as usual for your kind comment and Marty and I enjoy your Facebook posts X ❤️
I just watched you create an heirloom. At first, I thought why not just use a transfer? Well, that thought left quick when you over stamped. There are many furniture painters out here, you create timeless, unique art. I'm blown away.......
Hi ya Lel . It’s ABSOLUTELY! GORGEOUS! GORGEOUS! You Truly are a BRILLIANT Artist. ❤❤ IT . The cute handle with the tassel is just what it needed. Till next time have an Awesome day 🤗
I have to rush out the door, but after just watching you create this gorgeous piece, I knew if I didn't write now I probably wouldn't comment later. So nice to see you make over this trunk using a different style than your usual. Of course, it still is thoroughly you, adding those aging details and stamping techniques which I love. Adding that red around the edges certainly highlights the piece, just perfect! Interesting to note, when I look at interior design magazines of very wealthy homes put together by professional designers, more and more I'm seeing them incorporate very weathered vintage pieces. I'm also seeing painted furniture added to the interior of these gorgeous homes. More color too!!! Looks like artist furniture painters are influencing the industry. Watching this video, in fact all of your videos always inspire me putting me in a great mood. And boy do I need that lift right now. Honestly, I do envy you being able to work on your art all day everyday. Of course I realize it took a great deal of work to make that possible, but I do wish that I could afford that time working on my art. With love always, Sydni
Sydney like you I see more and more incredibly distressed pieces in homes magazines I think it's great. I'm so sorry you are always to busy to do what you love and create. I hope you are okay all my love lel X ❤️
Oh, that is so beautiful! The handle really sets it off, too. You know that I'm doing a wall in my bedroom (haven't started yet) and you give me SO many ideas. I love this, the aqua/turquoise (lovely). Happy Easter. xo
You're such an inspiration. 👏 Bravo bravissimo. And the music at the end 😁 fits the piece 🧩 perfectly and gives the feeling of the Jazz Age... Really Lel you're a marvel. Thanks for sharing and teaching and inspiring.

This is so cool! Beautiful! Again I learned sooooo much! Never have done gold leaf and feel like I could manage it now. But the stamping, painting and stamping looks amazing and I definitely want to try that! Thank you for sharing! ❤ it’s truly gorgeous!
The first magician I ever saw came to my nursery school. I watched him pour a pitcherful of water into a cone made of newspaper. Of course, in the end, there was no water anywhere and the newspaper was bone dry. In my mind's eye I can see myself, eyes wide open, huge, staring at that newspaper and the man, and trying to understand how in the world he'd done that. I still don't know. That's exactly how I felt watching you transform this chest from a shy brown bird into an explosion of color. The double stamping is something I've never seen, the blazing red on the inside is the perfect surprise. I can imagine a potential buyer being attracted to the gold and color, going to the chest, opening the top, and seeing the red. Sold! Watching you work as you make your choices--where to stamp, what to stamp, what part of the stamp to use....I feel as if I get a glimpse into your mind. You make it look easy. You come very close to making me believe I might be able to do it. That's a kind of magic all by itself. Thank you for your art, your inspiration, and your generosity in sharing it with all of us. 💗❣💖

@@MadebyMarley Not worthy? It's interesting that when one is born with an inherent talent that came from our ancestry from god knows who, we find, as we grow older and begin putting that talent to use, we often regard it in an offhand manner, as if it's normal, easy and therefore not a talent at all. So why should we receive praise and appreciation for something we find easy? @@MadebyMarley Loved the way you distressed the gold leaf. Gold is gorgeous but can be over done. And your choice of hardware, that black pull, was perfect! Like icing on a cake. When you panned the camera back and I saw the black two front feet and the black pull it was like magic. You had the perfect triangle! Signs of artistic blood.
This is so beautiful! May I please ask if you sealed the gold leaf before you stamped it? Also when you painted in the details what type of paint did you use? Acrylics or chalk paint? Sorry if I missed that detail during the video! Thanks again
Hi there, love your work! Did you treat the gold leaf with any sealant? Is all of the paint used Annie Sloane Chalk Paint? Is acrylic safe to use on gold leaf or will it make it tarnish? Sorry for all the question :) Just beautiful 😍 Thanks, Vicki
I never mind questions.... Sealer first I sealed the piece with wax... But I did this at the end no need to seal in between. I used all Annie Sloan but acrylic might even work better. When you do it, all the paint needs 2x coats as the first slightly repels as it's on gold leaf. Any other questions or if you get stuck just DM made by Marley crafts on Facebook or email Sales@madebymarley.co.uk Lel x

I sealed everything at the end.... And I always use Annie Sloans chalk paint.
Hope this helps... Thanks so much for watching x
That was so beautiful. Thank you
Thanks so much that's really kind of you. It's really simple if you want to give it a go x x x

WOWZER !!! STUNNING ❤
Thank you! Cheers! And happy Easter to you ❤️🐰🐣
Hi there, love your work!
Any other questions or if you get stuck just DM made by Marley crafts on Facebook or email

I have just discovered you and I am in LOVE! Quick question lady of the Nile paint inlay on MCM piece
What did you seal this with? Thank you ever so much
Hey there Cecile I sealed it with top coat sealer I use french chic tuff coat. However easily this could have been waxed it's your choice...X X ❤️
A magical piece!
What is the name of the stamp with the berries/grapes/mystery fruit?
It's from la campagne by IOD hopefully I have spelled it better than I described it ha ha
I'm so bad at naming things and my eyesight is terrible.
If you watch the queen of the Nike video I call roses cabbages....Marty never lets me forget.
