Probably one the THE most detailed and THE most informative how to set up videos I have seen in on a product in a long time!! I just ordered one!! AWESOME JOB GUYS!!
First Lite because their gear is for people lite in the loafers, wink wink, if you know what i mean. Put down the latte, cut off the man bun, take your buttplug out, and quit using consumer crap and treating hunting gear like its a fashion accesory. Only a woman and Freddy Mercury would care about the camo pattern. Seek help
I just got mine set up and my two critiques are.....#1- I wish it had a pull strap on the seat so you could hold it while you're sitting down. #2- How does this box call holder actually work? Other than that I absolutely love it.
I just recently picked this up on tethered nation's website and it was on sale. After receiving the system, I noticed right away that the seat strap that came with the system is not the same type of strap shown in this video. I guess that elastic green strap cost $50. The seat does not function the same as this video demonstrates. Which is the main reason why I purchased this system. Now, instead of a stretchy material you have the same backpack strap like webbing that causes the seat to more or less flip down rather than pop out. This little detail means that you cannot cinch the seat up as close to the body as this video demonstrates. Caveat emptor
I see that the vertical pockets are sold separately…Will the horizontal pockets be sold separately or any of the accessory gear (diaphragm holder, pot cal sleeves, etc)? Great product!
@@jimmymcclendon6210 I was looking to see if the horizontal pockets and accessories would be sold separately, so I can use my current backpack that has molle on the belt. Simply put, I can’t afford the total setup.
@@westernwanderer977 My Mystery Ranch pop-up 18 has molle as well so that certainly isn't a bad idea. I may sell one of my horizontal pockets on Ebay. I like the set up I created so far so I'll have extra parts to sell.
I 'm a pot call guy usually carry 3 or 4. Can i buy the accessory pot call holders seperate. Thats probably the only thing keeping me from getting this vest
Aaron mentions using water bottles instead of a bladder but he doesn't show where he stores them in this setup Is there a water bottle pocket? Do the optional vertical pockets fit a standard water bottle?
@@jimmymcclendon6210 helpful info, thanks. I haven’t seen much detail on these types of things which makes me a little reluctant to drop $300 even though I want to buy the vest. Appreciate it!
will be interested in seeing how this is also going to be transformed to be used as a Deer bag in the fall...I already have the FAS pack...but see potential here. Instead of pack or turkey bag...use the predator pack and compression straps to attach sticks..calls and extra in the side pockets..hmmm...Carl..thoughts?
Just got my M2 in last week after watching this vest since seeing it at the NWTF show last year. Only complaint I have is on the seat. In the videos i've seen everyone is just flipping the seat and sitting down. Unfortunately for me I have to loosen the straps so much to be able to sit comfortably that when not using the seat it does not ride tight like you all show. It drags behind me hitting back of legs. Just think a slight design flaw. I will end up having to unbuckle the seat to use which is not ideal. I may end up breaking out the sowing machine and just install some magnets.
People love to complain about cheap overseas manufacturing and then those same people also love to complain when people make things in the USA because the price goes up. Can’t have both. If you want a cheapo Chinese made vest, you can find one from literally any other company. In fact, most $200+ vests (there are plenty) are made overseas.
@Galin Swigart mine is not clunky or snappy??? I also have a Ole Tom that is nice as well... that magnetic seat is Awesome to me,especially on the run!
@@chasekluth6092 ask me how i know you've never belly crawled through a creek or a thicket on a bird?? Keep sitting in your blind and let the real men talk
@@whiteyfisk9769 Done both my guy! Put miles into a bird and walked out to the blind and killed one in 5 mins. If you think the only way to kill a bird is to crawl to it, which I am sure you spook a lot of birds doing that, go for it. I will keep killing them however they let me, blind or gun n run.
$300 for a clunky looking vest with a cheap camo pattern is insane. Sitka, one of the most premier hunting brands ever, has a vest cheaper than this. Tethrd will likely come out with 10 add ons that will not be included and cost extra and this vest could get up to $450. Also I guarantee they will come out with the M3 next year with minor modifications for $375. I get it’s made in the US but it looks gros. Camo is disgusting and the fabric looks like it will be incredibly noisy.
Idk about the M2, been using my old Little Bighorn mimimal vest for 17 years now. But Sitka is absolute dog crap. Ill never buy any of their stuff ever again. Its ok if you go hunting 3 or 4 times a season, but i hunt very hard spring and fall. Sitka is for larping soiboy twink dandys like Steven Rinella...and apparently you and your boyfriend
Why wouldn’t you show the assembly from the same side you’re doing it and not upside down? And what about the people that didn’t order the bird bag option? Buddy doesn’t know if he’s trying to do a how to video or sell the vest to people that already bought it. This video sucks if you bought the hydration bag and not the bird vest. The setup it totally different. $300 and no good instructions in the box and this video is worse.
Should be ashamed of the price. At least include the accessories that make it a vest instead of just basic straps and a seat. That’s ridiculous literally just straps and a seat for $300.
Posting all these videos and ads about your new vest only too immediately be out of stock because you didn’t manufacture enough for your product launch. Absolute clown show.

This thing looks great. Totally customizable and made in USA. Yeah it’s $300, but I’ve spent that in one night in a fat girl. I’m in
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They have put a TON of thought into this vest. So many little things that really make it nice and actually work well in the field
Just an idea for the guys at Tethrd. Some way of adding blaze orange when needed during Firearms seasons? Any ideas?
yea.

Very well thought out vest!
I built pretty much the same thing from Amazon. I mean, mine is garbage because it's missing logos but it was also $70.

Here’s another vote for the same type of information! I’m also interested to see how the vest could be used for saddle hunting.
Basically an LBE with a sit pad
I use a beastgear stand as my saddle platform. I would like to see a set of backpack straps and a waist belt like these to help carry the load.
Aaron has a bigger trap on one side bc of all the turkeys he carries out over that shoulder 💪
Was very interested in this vest but $300 dollars for a turkey vest is insane.
$200 would have been considered a high end vest. $300 is just sad
Exactly. If they were able to justify why they are charging 300 then fine, but no its just because they are the hunting public

i hate velcro! how long will the velcro last? good system tho. if i wasn't so old, i'd buy one. i turned my son on to it. he's stoked.

I don't have an issue with the price, but a non-magnetic seat is a deal breaker for me...

Good looking bag. $300 is a bit pricey though.
Only thing missing from this setup is a locator calls holding rig
I just ordered one, there was no horizontal pouch option.
Horizontal pockets come with each kit
Basically hunting H harness
I like it
The seat is very awkward. Can’t just sit down when pulled tight or you will miss the seat. Want to love it but need to configure this seat yet.
When tacticool meets Turkey hunting. Great design, but totally not solving any problems. Good luck
thats the only way a seat should work on a turkey vest!
Also the fact that the compartments are all zippers is dumb. Loud and inconvenient
