ohmygod i have been living under a rock i have always heard milhaud's brazileira in two pianos but not until know i heard a variation with percussion and suddenly everything makes sense.
…. Bravissimo y gracias du partage !!!
Finally a version that gets the rhythm... most of the time this is played just frantically too fast without the sway. The first time I heard this was a couple of really talented girls practicing it in a dining hall at UCSC. I've never found a recording of this that I liked until now.
Darious Milhaud composed a lot of strange tangled harmonies type of pieces which I like but yet here he is giving us a jazzy toe tapping piece which is the other side of him. I love it!

Oh, guys. This makes my heart smile. Thank you bringing the joy and playfulness. Bravi tutti.

Gorgeous!!
thank you very much!
The whole fabulous suite should be orchestrated with 2 pianos...great music!
I totally agree! I hope someone arranges this in the future!
One of he Best Versions on RUclips! I really enjoyed it ! I wonder, if the Percussionsection is originally from the Componist?
I don’t think so.
It's not. It's only meant for two piano
Padrisima
more cow bell (sorry I couldn't help it) My teachers taught us Milhaud's
notation permutations in High School....with respect
damn bro this was more fire than I expected.. kudos from the black and latino comuunity . - Rams
Ganzissimo!!!
Grazie mille!!
Snazzzzzz!
Muito brasileiro!
와...대박
Latino beat wow ! !
Luis de la Valle should cosplay Schubert.
It's very nice to know the key players in this, but does anyone know the orchestra?
Idk....
This is how getting robbed in Brazil feels like.
Saquen esa cortina!!!
I love it when musicians improvise and rearrange ,which today's classical musicians don't have the ability anymore
I think the percussion is too much and a little bit loud.
+Tong Qi As a percussionist, I do not know where is too much, and where is too loud, please indicate, thank you very much.
But I think the percussion makes the whole song much more entertaining. I like the percussion very much.
Good, but not the darius milhaud's style... it's the wrong jazzy interpretation !
Please elaborate
God forbid we have fun with music
Percussion ruins everything. Milhaud's rhythms gett muddled up in the added percussion
