    A lot of people are saying Austin Butler will win and he probably will but Brendan Fraser needs to win!!

    Best performance by a donkey of all time is Au Hasard Balthazar hands down.

    I agree Blonde was trash as a movie, but Ana Dr Armas' was incredible.
    BTW, the Daniels directed Swiss Army Man which is equally inventive and wonderful.
    This video was a lot of fun. It was heartening to see you disagree and just respect each others' opinions.

      Oh I didn't know Swiss Army Man was them. That's cool. The way everyone's been talking about them this year, I assumed Everything Everywhere was their debut. My bad. Glad you enjoyed the video!

    The films that I love rarely get nominated for Oscars, so I'm pretty much out of luck. However, I hope that the films you love get some recognition at the Oscars.

      Thanks! I used to feel similar about the oscars. I really recommend branching out and trying new kinds of films when you can. The last few years have been incredibly enlightening and transformative for me. As I've moved outside of my comfort zone, I've gained an all new appreciation for cinema.

    I loved the hand-written notes! I watched this at work, and every time Grace said “and the Oscar goes to…” I stopped what I was doing to look. Fun video!

      Thanks man! The notes and the structure were all Grace's idea. She put a lot of work into this video. She's making my lazy self look good

    Hi, DJ and Grace! I need to know I've done one thing right with my life, so I watched your video tonight.😃 I agree that Brendan Fraser and Hong Chau in "The Whale" and Colin Farrell and Kerry Condon in "The Banshees of Inisherin" are all worthy of Oscar wins in their respective fields. I'm still thinking about when Farrell keeps asking everybody if they think he's dull (a funnier word to me than 'boring'). That line and the way he delivers it is so funny and yet so sad, too. And by the way, two other wonderful films featuring Judd Hirsch are 1980's "Ordinary People" and 1988's "Running on Empty." Both are very moving.

      Haha! Thanks Kevin. Glad you enjoyed the video. Yeah it was really tough picking just one winner for these. A lot of actors doing great work this year. Thanks as always for the recommendations. I will add them to the ever-expanding watchlist 👍

    Grace looks like shes wearing the same dress Jamie Lee Curtis wore at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. She is red carpet ready for this video for sure! and you look pretty snazzy yourself Mr. Martinez!

    What does Brendans speech have to do with who wins the Oscar?

    • @claudettewright365
      @claudettewright365 Год назад

      Speeches help with momentum. Oscars are very much like a political race for President. There are a lot of factors outside of just the movies themselves.
