What a coincidence, tomorrow is my first day of work. Luckily, I have been acquainted enough with the team since I worked with the same team for a year first as an intern and then for my thesis. Keep up the good work!
Please, if you can, make a video about AFA ( Agentur für Arbeit) and Job Centre in Germany. The tormiul of these two is incredibly big and I do believe it would be so helpful for many foreigners. Happy new year ♡ all the best for 2025
@simplegermany Yes, I do. I am living in Hamburg. To my understanding, they have to collaborate together to support people who, fortunately or unfortunately, lost their job. However, I don't see it happening. Same papers again and again must be full filled.. They are not very specific and explain well what for what it is ? What is the difference, for instance, Burgergeld and Arbeitslosengeld? If you have a registration ( some online app from the last century ), why can not you be used to applying or changing your status without being present at the institution personally? And so many other questions... honestly, my feeling is that they don't help. They just confuse more, and on the top of that makes you feel guilty. Thanks in advance. I know that for such a topic, it would need a lot of time.
I baked a brownie for my friend in Vienna couple of years ago when I was visiting. My friend was surprised by it and loved the brownie I made. Recently, asked if I could share the recipe, which I did. So, home made food seem to work well, regardless of for work or for your friends. Thank you for the advice.
