Can anyone provide any information of the belt ranking system he's using, im curious about about the white belt and where it is ranked within his system?
There may be ways to avoid getting into the wrist lock, but once the opponent has it it is all over. I would have had to get lots of training if I had wanted to compete in MMA because they forbid wrist locks, and most of the techniques in my jujitsu start with them. The tai chi which is my current martial art practice (I'm 77.) also employs a number of wrist locks implied by the movements in the Beijing Form.
I am afraid to say this to you, however, you will find the result if you test your self:) In fact, do you think I have no clue about any counter moves by the opponent.lol Thanks for the comment.Peace!
Of course there are counter moves. MA is circular. Perfect practice makes perfect. On any day, one man can win, on another the reverse. This is about wrist locks, not hth combat.
This kid can't show you a jiu-jitsu roll but I CAN show you a video of Royce Gracie thoroughly thrashing a Hapkido "master" back in the day when he debunked every single MA you don't see used in MMA.
The instructor is BOSS

Good to a certain point, but the yellow could easily do a sweep and escape the hold.
