Im really glad to hear that! Congratulations on your 9 months...you sincerely are getting past one of the hardest times now. At 1 or 2 years it's usually a fleeting urge for many. I had 1 drink 5 years ago (alcohol wasnt my addiction persay)... but i was repulsed by it...felt sick all night from one beer....and that for me was literally the last real craving i ever had for alcohol.

Thank you for the video. I just got my first two bristlenose plecos. I've never had plecos so I don't know how to tell if they are male or female. They only sold babies where I bought them from so I'm hoping I have a male and a female. I've had the first one for a month. She's already about 2 and a half inches long and no bristles yet so we'll see.
Hi, when it comes to angels, besides the head shape, I've always found the males to be more triangular - much more obvious with larger fish of course.

Thanks for sharing but I only have three fishes at home one is pure black ( which i’m struggling and can’t really identify the gender bc her color blends in with background), one is red and white and one is pure orangish gold. and i’m still having trouble and confused on how to identify especially with the black one cause i can’t see it. ☹️

Have you ever thought about doing a "pimp my tank" thing? Like having a viewer post a video of their tank and reviewing it on your channel. Then they try your suggestions and you do a follow up video with it? Theres a lot that could be done with this formula xD
I have done this a bit! But only with friends tanks... I was worried about hurting feelings critiquing tanks of strangers... but if I could actually show up and give them plants...that would be so rad...but the channel makes 1200-2k or so a month as of now, so I've been trying to make it into a "job"...and haven't really given back all the income...where as the first 3 years of the channel, all went to prizes or fish upkeep...and If I get to 3k a month I'll put the excess back into prizes and stuff again.
But that's the logistics, and the brutal truth of the matter. I love the idea though

what about glofish? I have 4 can't tell their gender.
They're harder...usually you just have to look for a rounder belly and with a bright LED LED sometimes at night you can see their eggs inside of them even (check late at night)

Swollen belly is the main method that i know that and the anal fin has a darker spot just behind it....but mostly during spawning.also the males are more nippy to the other fish

I don't think you can sex them very easily...probably aggressive or territorial behavior and females have a bigger belly...but that's all hard to tell without several to compare
