- This week, Lorna shares a story with us. One that is filled with love and a few tears. This is the story of the fox cub.
"I am going to tell you a story about a little fox, a baby fox in Sanctuary. When I was cooking my dinner and getting ready, Angel Hoses says, "Lorna, you've to head to the forest, leave your dinner!" So I came down, put on my boots, and I went this way because I was following two beautiful angels, I called them the Angels of Nature, even though, we human beings are meant to be the Guardian Angels of Nature.
I walked as fast as I could across the bridge here, I didn't stop. I wanted to run across all that grass. But the angel said, "No, Lorna, keep to the path." Because it was evening time, it was starting to get late, even though the evenings are bright now in Ireland. When you go into the forest, of course it gets that little bit darker. I knew by the angels in front of me they were going so fast. I seen them in the distance and no way could I keep up with them. But they would stop every now and then and just tell me to hurry up.
Every now and then, Angel Hoses would say, "Mind your step, Lorna." When I got up here to where this tree trunk is, they told me to stop for a moment. And the angels said, "It's not here. We just want you to stop because you're getting close to where the baby fox is. It just needs a little bit of love. And I suppose the part I even find hard to say, even though I knew something was wrong. I remember Angel Hoses hands on my shoulders and just feeling so sad, but the two Angels of Nature just said, "Lorna it needs this little comfort." I was told to walk ahead and I just walked quietly trying not to make too much noise."

Dear Lorna ☺. Oh how I cried at this story, the second story of a rescued fox cub in just two days. I recently discovered your channel after watching an episode about soul mates that you did. I immediately ordered your book, Angels in My Hair, which arrived today. I broke my shoulder at the end of October after a fall in my garden, then on the 4th of December I lost my beloved husband Terry after a very short illness. We had been together for 54 years (we were babies when we wed). He was my love, my life and my soul mate and I miss him every day,. It's so hard without him. His kindness lit up any room and the people in it, he was loved by all. I have no family but I have my two fur babies, my Kits 🐺🐱, which are giving me a reason to get up each morning. Oh Lorna…….such a beautiful yet sad story. How lovely that the nature angels called you to little Potato, to give him love. I also was so moved that the angels pet the little baby as well. We had something similar happen this past week with a baby rabbit. It was so tiny, it could est in the palm of your hand. The children named it. They cared for it for a day before it passed and then had a little ceremony in the back yard. After it was over, I resumed my work and we all resumed our lives, but there was a cloud hanging over our heads and hearts. The memory came back up as you tenderly recalled your experience. I don't see angels, but they were definitely around us and working with each of us, healing parts of us surrounding records of grief and letting go. Thank you, dear sister 🌳🌿🌱

It is because of how I was brought up. Mum has been always teaching me not to hurt myself and rather not go there if there is a danger. But as I know myself and my spirituality I understood it. I feel the compassion more. I discover more of the love that is within me, because it is moving me and when I see your life and how it is full of love, I can see and follow your example. Hi Lorna, thank you so much for taking care of and giving love to that little baby fox. Foxes are very important to me, they are my favorite animal and I even have a page dedicated to them as they hold a special place in my heart. When I met you and learned more about angels, I sent some angels to look after the foxes that needed it. Even today I dreamed of two little foxes, so the fact that you posted this video today is an interesting synchronicity for me. What a beautiful little fox... I wonder what the foxy heaven is like. That was the saddest and sweetest story I have heard in a long time. I really think that vet could have at least tried to help the little fox to get well. You never know for sure unless you try. So glad that Lorna and the angels were there to lend a helping hand.

This makes me so happy. To know I’m not alone in my caring for the animals. I have cared for so many injured animals… and just every animal, where I lived. And I give them food and especially water in the summer. I instantly cry when an animal is suffering and feel like my purpose is just honor the animals in my own way. People think I have to much empathy for animals. I even began to think so. I worry about them in general. We are building so much and taking away there space. They are adjusting to all our noise and abuse of the planet. I can get very sad about it. They are gifts to this planet.

From earliest childhood on I felt attracted by and to(wards?) animals of all kinds. Grasshoppers at 3 - my Mum found them in my bed ( poor grasshoppers !!) - maybe they were the first sign of my loving creatures. I try my best to help, to feed, to take to the vet ....
And I send you much love - and : Do not feel we were too empathetic. The world needs empaths, 8 billion of them.
