Just an FYI, the last stand update reintroduced an unused quote in the introduction to hard rain. There are two instances when questioning virgils trust in which Nick will state that the survivor group is the first 3 people he has ever trusted, and then admits nervously he doesn't trust himself. Rochelle exchanges that she trusts Nick as well, Nick quickly reverts to his distant self post-confession, then coach interrupts the two with a positive vibe, saying that they coulda gotten the gas by now. (Compared to the other interruption coach has it seems this one is more "I like to hear it guys. Stay focused though.")
"If people had been more clean-oriented and used more hand sanitizer then maybe the green flu would have been prevented" Nick warned us...but did we listen?

I love how Zachass uses beejies animations as a delivery for the voice lines and not just playing them with a PNG of the character he's talking about. It's a lot more visually interesting than most other people who would do this.

I, who always plays Nick when when playing L4D2, viee Nick as a good guy deep down who developed a tough guy persona with a cocky and harsh attitude due to trauma from his past! Also, i think his fear of germs began at the outbreak of the virus due to both the disease eing fatal-after turning its victims into zombies and, [due to his traumatic last] to his lack of control over certain things in life, one of which been the virus.
In part one of the non-canon SFM series White Lie, there was one line where Nick says he used to steal guns from cops back in his high school days, which may be why he got arrested.
R.I.P rochelle,she was never talked about.

Back in my childhood, my friends always call the others l4d2 survivors by their name except Nick, they just called him "the doctor" !!
I came down to Savannah, but for different reasons than fish
when I was young, that suit reminds me of a doctor suit, so I always thought he was some kind of doctor or vet
Nick looks like a mobster in hotline Miami
Nick's character development:
- A man used to live a life of gambling, womanizing and a con artist who doesn't trust anyone. Initially, he just tags along with his fellow survivors just to get through the green flu pandemic.
- As the story progress, he despise CEDA and the Military when the former seems incapable of handling the infection and the latter almost killed them dropping bombs on them. He came to trust his fellow Survivors (even the L4D1 trio during The Passing finale through his remarks and last words before parting ways) more than anyone else.
- Though rude on the outside, he shows concern and care with his teammates as evident with his words when healing or reviving his teammates. When he apologize, he either says it sarcastically ("I'm sorry." Is that want you want me to say?) or sincerely ("Forgive me, okay?" or to L4D1 Survivors, "Sorry for your loss."). He does show his "Good Guy Nick" side when the need arise.
Back then,i thought that nick was a robber because in the trailer he can be seen opening a cash register which made me think he is one

The thing I found about Nick is that he is an asshole on the outside, but deep down I feel he is actually a caring individual. For instance, when he heals you he's very comforting and friendly (for the most part) such as "Don't tell anyone, I'm only doing this for you". Seriously though, I personally feel like he is actually a cool and caring individual, but he doesn't want to come up as a softie.

Something you could have mentioned is Nick giving respect to Ellis when he dies. If Ellis dies, Nick will say stuff like "Hey Ellis... you know I was just kidding about that stuff I said about you right?" And "He was kind of annoying, but he could shoot a gun." This would suggest that despite being a con artist/criminal, he has enough heart to feel some regret as well as more respect for Ellis then he let's on.
And when its just him and ellis left, he says," ellis, dont leave me here too"
And when it’s him and Ellis nick says “hey Ellis remember all those things I said eairlier, I was just kidding.
Btw, he also start to respect zoey and her team once he saw the Bill’s dead body at the passing map, asking forgiveness for being rude towards them.

Except the "No time for mourning, let's go." line which can be heard in Dead Center if the introductions haven't been finished. So you could say that Nick only starts respecting Ellis as time goes on in the game.
I used to be an Ellis player, but I usually play Nick nowadays because of how sarky he can be. Also his quotes on the special infected are pretty funny:
