People who make disrespectful comments should try and accept that there are things in this world that they do not yet understand or comprehend, and that is okay. Part of the reason people attack is not borne of someone else's issues, but because they are confused, afraid or lost. We all are on some level until we become realised. Peace comes from within first. When we feel negative emotions we tend to strike out at others with criticism or anger which emanates from inside of us. Find peace inside your own head and there will be less necessity to hurt others via anger or criticism. There is truly nothing we have control over in this world, but possibly peace is available within once we control our own turbulent minds. The Bhagavad-Gita is an allegory for this internal struggle with instruction of how we may defeat our own out of control ego which is necessary for survival but when not tamed is responsible for most of the pain in the world and within us.
