I like how he went to his parents about his rap dreams and instead of telling him get a real job or go to college son, they were all for it but made him realize you're gonna have to put that work in !
Jack didn't care who thought his raps were 'wack' or let how he looked effect him. He stayed proud of all he did and continues to create. He's a strong ass dude for all he went through growing up, im serious
Iv been listening to jack since 2015 when I first heard wasted youth and been following him ever since and put all my friends on him back then I knew he would be big at some point
Eh that album wasn’t it but he does have tons of potential to become a goat but if he keep on making the twerk anthems and forgettable music he gonna be just like g eazy which I don’t want to happen cus I fw him as a person heavy
On another note: I grew up enjoying Weird Al Yankolvick, and just finished seeing yet more confirmation of the fact that there is an effortless reward system just for being yt and male, on the other end of my research about the 15 highest paid DJ’s in the world (ALL yt and male and almost all not even American); because of things like this, and the fact that it would take very little to make him a “heartthrob”, I knew he would pop relatively quickly.
don't seem like he dealt with much adversity... seems like he had a pretty easy going life with a lot of support around him and not many roadblocks... I respect his grind, but his origin story is weak...
@@ZerG713 well we can't agree that his parents worked harder than others because we don't know that... definitely not his fault and I'm proud of him as any American should be... but the fact remains his origin is weak...
I came here after hearing how unimpressive Jack Harlow is thinking “this dude had to have been born rich” and sure enough, I was right. American caste system
Soooooo…. he… ALL his life… had stringy straight hair…. But now ALL SUDDEN… bcuz he NOW raps, has unnatural man made curly hair now??? U think tryna be accepted in “hiphop crowd” had smtg do with that? 🤦♂️🤣 I mean.. IJS… someone just pointed that out to me lolol

He is a rich white kid 💵💰
@@JB-pb9oh yeah that's more reason for his parents to look down on wanting to be a rap artist instead they embraced it.

All he went through? He was a rich boy that grew up with a privileged life with both parents.
Even if you are privileged, it doesn’t mean that you don’t go through pain and struggle. It’s just in a different way

Huh. So he didn’t come almost out of nowhere. He put the time AND was laser-focused on getting better and it worked. Gotta give him props for that.
Gonna say it again Jack is an Underrated genius 💯🔥
No, it all makes sense. His parents fund his early ep and mixtape. I ain't mad at it.
Iv been listening to jack since 2015 when I first heard wasted youth and been following him ever since and put all my friends on him back then I knew he would be big at some point
Give JACK his JACKET... his album was amazing. 🔥🔥🔥

Rap might be the only genre where artists are obsessed with “being the best”.
I find it petty.

“Origin story” lol makes him sound like a superhero. But yeah he had a basic upbringing why his music content is fairly basic. Not much depth
How is that his fault? He worked hard to get where he is at even though his album was mid lmao
