First Lie Wins was my most antcipated book of the year so far--and it didn't disappoint. Lol I LOVED IT!!! I figured out a few of the twists, but certainly not the majority of them. This time, all the hype was definitely worth it. I can't believe this is the author's adult debut. I'm ready for more. 😊
Shout out for the Writers League of Texas - they offer so mnay amazing free webinars! Also i appreciate the idea of going into some books knowing as little as possible to habe the best experience. My fave book of 2023 (Adrift by Brideau) is one of those. Makes it harder to convey to people what its about so they'll read it though 😂.
50% into First Lie Wins and I’m struggling to not DNF. There is absolutely nothing happening in the book that wasn’t already on the jacket summary. Soooo bored. Trying to finish it and hoping something happens. 🥴
First lie wins is my favorite book in several years. I have struggled to stay interested in the majority of three books I start.
The title The Man in the Brown Suit immediately makes me think of The 13th tale and the man in the ugly suit.
