@HighFrankieAD3 not sure about the background song when they were talking about how many years they served but the rap song is immortal technique-point of no return
@alkapone187: Not to bring up old shit, but this is what makes life a living hell. The world could be like a paradise if people stopped acting like they're the only ones alive with something to lose.
Why do these men feel that serving time for a crime that they did is unfair?America has gotten too soft on punishing criminals& it's high time we bring back& use the death penalty. Most criminals can't be rehabilitated& often learn to do worse things in jail.Jail is supposed to be a punishment for crimes, not a retreat where you take classes, learn a trade, watch TV,surf the net,get free food & medical care.Bring back the fear of jail to curb crime& make inmates work instead of taxing the public.
I'm not arguing with you... but, if I can, let me try to understand your logic. People are only in jail because they deserve to be/have earned their place there? Have you never heard of false imprisonment?
Why? Due to the Rockefeller drug laws in NY. Why is someone who sells crack gets on average more time than someone who sells cocaine. New York City remains the cannabis-arrest capital of the world, maybe you should look up what the "war on drugs" has created. If your interested I suggest you read, Rockefeller drug laws. Which were finally replaced but many still suffer under them. Lastly, if you'r worried about cost. The DP is more costly than life sentences.
I don't think I've ever heard of that. I'm not arguing with you but, ... I think there are probably a lot of people who are locked up innocently. Anyone can be "found guilty," even you. Any now, because of the Patriot Act, you can be arrested and held with no charges AT ALL. Anyway... Here's an interesting website, if you're interested. sentencingproject (dot) org/template/index (dot) cfm

its immortal technique but i dont know the song
Don't you at least think it's important to know why each person, individually, was incarcerated before making assumptions?

I'm confused they were showing the guy in the video getting shot like 14 times and he was still walking like he was the terminator
Weezy in Rikers Island...oh snap...
Sure. It wouldn't make sense to have a prison system, if the opposite were true.
