They CANT BEAT THE QUALITY TEAMS IN THE DIVISION. They are who they are. A wildcard team at best, one and done in playoffs. They don’t play the youth and it hurts the team and their development, shit veterans are not the answer. Period. Quit calling up the AHL RETREADS.

It's resl easy. The Wild have till 2 days before next summers draft to impress the hell out of #97 with their play this year or player moves to show hope for next season. Otherwise, he's gone. My money is on him going to a Florida team.

I know this team started very hot and when healthy I think they can play with anyone. It’s not just Ek but the Middleton injury hurts just as much. For a team lacking size these are the top two big guys who can skate. Both play elite PK too.

They'll fight for wild card spot at best this season and obviously 1st round exit... again. PK is in need of some changes asap. And again - sit JoJo for a game or two!!! I can't see what he brings right now to earn a spot at 2nd line.

One other thing I've noticed is that when we're on the PK, more times than not, when we DO control the puck after a faceoff, the default play is to clear the puck. I've seen many times where they can pass it off, or skate around (taking time off the PP clock), or otherwise keep the other team from restarting their PP attack.

Jesse’s hot take from this podcast: Zuccarello did just fine when Kirill was out last year
GONG!! Zuc was a ghost and he got exposed last year without 97

Nothing changes on the powerplay. Why don't these "Pros" know what to change? They stand still far too much, they let the other team just stand still and sweep sticks. Not rocket science...looks like laziness! IF YOU DON'T MOVE WHY IN THE HELL WOULD YOUR OPPONENT MOVE...EH?

First of all, look who scored the Jets goals, 2nd andv3rd liners!!! Our first line was invisible! Could not get the puck into the Offense zone!
With as many injuries as we've been staving off what concerns me is the team has gone into just biding time and going through the motions. It was noticeable in the last 3 losses for sure! The guys who needed to step up, Boldy, Hartman and ESPECIALLY CARCUS JOHANSSON have all become passengers. I know Hartman's shot numbers are more consistent but they are not high danger shots on average. As a team they are like playing flag football...chasing the guy without catching and throwing a hit. They've gotten lazy in the D Zone. The first touch passes that were working earlier are nonexistent. Defensemen sre holding pucks way too long. In a two man full forecheck that usually means you get beat. It has to stop! Stop the lazy circles (Carcus especially) in games, stop/start/stop/start THE FEET GOTTA MOVE!!!

On the PK if you can’t win the faceoff. Kick the puck forward try something else.

For a chance at the cup, IMHO, you need to be 4 deep at center.

They (being the Wild) are missing the boat on young guys development. Liam is just turning out to be the latest. I posted before the weekend about playing Jesper on Friday in a winnable game. No, they throw him to the wolves against Winnipeg on second night of back to backs with a struggling team. Jesper once was the best goalie prospect in the league...With the whole MAF farewell tour..His adjustment to the show seems far away.

Keep seeing ppl say anders lee lemme shut that down now. Hes on pace dor the best season of his career to top 62 pts his career high. Hes 34 and makes 7mill aav. Thats a bigger no than brock nelson. And nelson is a hell no other than a rental. And his price starting is a 1st and a 3rd. U do that trade and we have no 1st for 2yrs. If im giving up another 1st its a sign n trade for someone thats a pure goal scorer very few of those could be available. Boeser is 1. We missed on laine for multiple reasons. Nobody else out there
