Different shopping experience can be expected at Pratunam Market during these 4 time frames:
1. Pratunam Morning Market in front of Baiyoke Building is open from 04:00 to 09:00.
2. Pratunam Day Market in front of Baiyoke Building is open from 07:00 to 15:00.
3. The market inside air-conditioned mall is open from 11:00 to 16:00.
4. Pratunam Night Market is open from around 19:00 to 03:00.
Tips
It's always better to go to Pratunam Market with many friends as it is the market where goods are sold at wholesale price when you buy many pieces.
Bargaining is allowed but must purchase more to bargain.
Pratunam Market is a large market but it is very crowded, so beware of the pickpockets and take a good care of your belongings!
How to get there
By MRT
Take MRT Metro to Phetchaburi Station and transfer to Airport Rail Link Makkasan Station. Get on the Airport Rail Link train going to Phaya Thai and drop off at Ratchaprarop station which is just one station from Makkasan.
By BTS
Take BTS SkyTrain to Phaya Thai Station and transfer to Airport Rail Link Phaya Thai Station. Get on the Airport Rail Link train going to Suvarnabhumi Airport and drop off at Ratchaprarop station which is just one station from Phaya Thai.
Otherwise, take BTS Skytrain to Chidlom Station, leave via Exit 3 and then walk to Pratunam Market for about 15-20 minutes.
