So relatable when you just spin in your chair, eat, get on the phone, write on your iPad, stand up, sit down, spin. This is so much me, and I always think I am so weird when everyone in class sits still, doesn't even smile when the prof makes a jokes, while I grin and wiggle in my chair. But for the future I'd recommend you to get much less distraction when working and don't multitask that much and don't have Discord open during work. You said it calms you down, but this is just temporary satisfaction. It is good now, but it won't help you on handling anxiety and panic attacks on the long run. I know how it feels, yet it is very unhealthy to not learn to concentrate on work and get distracted. Maybe just put away your phone out of sight first and when eating, just eat and get away from your working place. Defining a pause and working time clearly might become more relaxing and your brain can breath. Don't force yourself to learn it and don't learn it because a stranger on the internet has said so. It is just a recommendation.
Thanks so much for the advice, its hard habit to break like you said, that instant gratification feels nice in the moment, going to give it more of a try so I'll have less anxiety in the future, thanks again for sharing your experience, it nice to hear Im not alone.
Your quite a good narrator and the wide angle montage of u working/using your workspace is very unique and cool. Your channel will definitely blow up over the next few years.
thanks so much for the kind words, really happy you appreciate the small details in my videos, definitely encourages me lots when life is down, your the best
Hey! dont worry about maya. I know you will manage to mastered it. I myself is an animation student.. At first day our professor want us to 3D model a chess piece, It was pain in the a**. I have a failure mark for that activity. But I did not stop watching youtube tutorials, Fastforward today, I was awarded "Best in Visual Effects in Animation" in my local film festival. You can do it!
This is so motivating to read!🧡 Planning on studying 3D design and although I have such a good feeling about this, I’m scared it won’t work. (I’m 29 and already have a bachelors degree in music). But reading this inspires me even more☺️
Oh my gosh yes, 3D Modeling is a very long process and I related to making sure everything is perfect but definitely listening to some music (I listen to Japanese Pop or some soft music to keep my afloat or I take a small break and come back) it’s all fun when you get the hang of it
3d modeling can be tough at first but it's very fun once you get the hang of it. It takes alot of time but trust me, as long as you keep practicing you'll do just fine
I love all your vlogs! 😭💖💞💖💖💕💞 it shows how an animation student life is. Animation is a lot of work! I love doing 2d animation but i dont like doing 3d at all. I do want to do 3d but i dont want to do 2d and 3d at the same time. Its hard to focus those 2 in one time. My current semester, i really wish to be able to go back home and be in my own space. But sadly cant. And also our lectures are being extra asking us do lots of 3d short film. But anyways wishing you best of luck! Maya is difficult and all but we know that you can do it!!!
I suggest to invest time in your inner self. Maybe watching videos in the background o playing audiobooks while you work. The health of the mind and the way you enjoy life is more important than anything else. It's from inside to outside. Btw, your art is lovely
I agree, do you have any podcast suggestions or audiobook suggestions? It's been difficult to calm the inner self any tips is appreciated, (人 •͈ᴗ•͈) thanks so much for the kind words btw 💕
@@Carritube Maybe something history related? I have a couple, but they are in German, so I can't name any specfic podcasts, but podcasts about history have helped calm down while working, and learning something new every time on the side. I can also recommend trying out The Three Investigators - in terms of audiobooks/audioplays. They are really thrilling and a good choice to play on the side. Maybe they'll work for you too?
@@Carritube Anything that points you to self-discovery is good. For me personally Eckhart Tolle (The Power of Now) and Joe Dispenza helped me a lot, but the path for each person may be different. Self knowing and good habits are the key. Just start with something, every day, and eventually you will change the way you see things and yourself, and that will change your reality. Wish you the best! 💗
I just found this channel and I really really love the videos. I have been trying to teach myself animation since 2020. And funnily enough I enjoy modeling and 3D more than anything else. Keep up the good work though I know you’ll do great
I can surely say that it has it's ups-n-downs when you really want to be creative. You keep doing you girl, I know having an anxiety break downs are a pain to deal with... I had my fair share in life when I was a lot younger.
i just found u recently and ur videos give me so much more motivation to get better at my art and do my school work thank u! (also the gaming chair looks so frickin cute omg)
You can do it. When you feel overwhelmed, stop, take a deep, breath, look how far you’ve come in your animation classes and work so far and just tell yourself that you can do it. I believe in you. Also, see if there are 3d molding videos on RUclips that can help you. I also know that procreate has 3d modeling and I think they have videos that show you how to do them. Blessings
Ah I’ve done this exercise back when I was was in school too! :D it was hard in the beginning but once you get it, modelling isn’t easy, you just need to get the hang of it honestly, I stressed but so much while modelling a car lol
When you said they should, my heart sunk, im like yoooooo Watch out, this is college snd teachers can do whatever they see fit. Then you said something similar and I’m like phew! 😮💨
I relate so much 😭 in my genetics classes i be so lost, I'm always like 'how did i even get here??'. Yall better keep ur pets healthy cause idk what im doing.
OMG this looks like me when I was in school for graphic design and web development in 2020. Since this is how I looked I will say that you're going to do great just like I did. Also by the way I love your setup 😍
I just stumbled across this channel, not sure if this would be helpful since my background is all cad work, but you'll need to check all the views, top, side and front and adjust the lines accordingly so you can avoid the droppy lines. Not sure if that make sense lol
sculpting is 3d modelling, it's just an aspect though, a subcategory, sculpting is 100% needed for organic materials like rocks, characters, any sort of organic topology. But is terrible for anything hard surface and built with stricter tolerances, like a car or a plane, though sculpting can be used to sculpt micro imperfections present on metals and other hard surfaces, that is usually done with texture mapping and bump maps because sculpting such minor imperfections adds an insane amount of polygons where bumps could do the trick just fine.
I like that life size BMO. 3D modeling isn’t that hard you can definitely catch up by watching some RUclips videos . Rigging a character is much harder then modeling a room. When modeling an object there’s a tool you can use were you can make half the shape and the tool copies the same shape on the other side so it cuts down the time it takes to make an object. I don’t know which version of Maya your using so I can’t be more specific. But I hope that helps .
Hopefully you won't need to take the class twice and get the most out of it. If you are paying for the class, then the teachers work for you. If you are having trouble learning something, they are paid to help you figure it out and master it. You don't want to pay for the same class twice. I'm still paying student loans for pro photography and graphic design. During my final year, they closed the program and I didn't finish my schooling. I'm still paying for it 15 years later and I don't work in the field I was going to school for. Every month my loan payment reminds me of that. Good luck! Watching you helped get me back into drawing. Keep it up!
I have a question regarding your set up. Do you find that having the monitor that high hurts your neck at all? Im contemplating getting a monitor stand like yours but im scared that it will make the monitor too high 😅
for me it helps me get it a an eye level, the vertical monitor gets a bit to high but i mostly put stuff i can scroll through eye level so its not a big deal, also depends on your height, Im about 5.3 in
Hello! Can you tell about your course? I'm still looking to my courses for my college, and idk what course are right for me. Im just a plain digital artist, i'm more on semi realism art style. And Idk if there is a course for it🥲 Someone told me that i should get animation course but i'm not into animation i just want to paint digitally, so ahm is there any course for it? And do you have a video telling about your college course?
what kind of course do i get so that i could be an animator too??? i'll be in grade 11 next year and im still undecided, help me pls i really like animating and editing

Hi
I have a question related to Samsung s pen. When do you change the nib of the pen and how do you do it?
Hope you have a nice day.
“Sometimes when I model things I think ‘this looks fine’ and then I press 3” is the most relatable thing I’ve heard when working in Maya
Lol foreal, that and Maya constantly crashing 24/7 (●´⌓`●)
That's true
You need to add more edges while doing modeling then it's look perfect when you press three
I feel ya! been studying 3D Game Art and i'm still struggling with the modeling part, tho it's fun when you get a hang of it
