I could play this game over and over and still wouldn't get tired of it. This is a masterpiece in every sense of the word. One of the greatest games ever made!
@@originalityisdead.9513 Maybe its because I got into it only in the last 2, but for some reason I feel nostalgia for Uncharted 3. Obviously some of the best ever made, in my mind, are those like Skyrim, Dark Souls, Portal/Portal 2, Half-Life/Half-Life 2, The Legend of Zelda, Super Smash Bros, Mortal Kombat, and Assassin's Creed 3 being a favorite of mine. Of course, there are the classics like Pacman, Donkey Kong, and Galaga.
I didn't think anything could ever be better than Tomb Raider. But Uncharted is. Gonna buy it. All four. Couldn't get off TR for 10 years. So I imagine I'll be addicted to Uncharted for well, the rest of my life. Just exploring the massive areas would take a life time.
I couldnt help but laugh during the beginning when flynn says "yeah, great view, i can see your house from here, lets get moving" you just had to look into the city like "where is it that one." I died

This game is taking all my energy 😀 Its addictive and hella tough and the chapters don't end. This is the best Uncharted game ever IMO and then Uncharted 4.
When it comes to Story and Multi-player, this was my absolute favorite out of the entire series by far. I just wish 4's story was as good as this so I wouldn't have to just revisit for the much improved gameplay experience over the next 6 years. But man I love this game, perfectly paced imo. Sucks you right into the adventure
I only had a PS3 for like 6 months in college and never got to play these, so my first experience was on PS4 with the Nathan Drake Collection, and they all blew me away. My brother and I played nothing but these games for like 3 months straight, and this series quickly became one of our favorites of all time. The train scene in this one and the shipyard/cruise ship in Uncharted 3 are some of my favorite gaming levels of all time. Naughty Dog could really not miss in the late 2000s/2010s. Uncharted is still in my top 10 favorite franchises.
@@BubblyJubbly Nah, Rafe okay, but he didn't have that intimidation factor. I always felt Nate would best him in a fight one on one. I don't think Rafe was this cold blooded 2:33:22

I get that it is a game and this is pretty much typical but watching a single dude go against what is basically a small army of henchmen that somehow the villain has in his employ is just amazing to see... like in one of the Fallout games, one of the NPC even said something like the enemy had destroyed his entire team very easily yet the MC just obliterated the entire camp by himself xD
does uncharted have difficulty level as most games do? curious what it would be like on the harder level if so. i can just imagine starting over a bunch of times lol
@@stephencurah1059yes, 5 levels of difficulty. In every game, I almost always choose the hardest difficulty. Some chapters of this game are borderline impossible on the hardest difficulty. But I've done it once, now I'm trying again.
My god the memories of this game; this was definitely what nailed Uncharted as the game to play and wait for even years to come for me and what made Naughty dog one of my favorite developers even before the Last of Us came oit; 2 was what made the fantasy and the history collide so well it was breathtaking especially the story, 2 really had the best of Uncharted when it came to the plot and the action and atmosphere of adventure; 3 was alright should’ve added more umph to the big reveal since it was related to one of the biggest mysteries since Uncharted 1. 4 was alright but I still would’ve liked some other horrific vibe from the big reveal of the pirates maybe something supernatural as well aside from just the greedy nature of pirates since there are many stories that lead to supernatural creatures and of course since most of the pirates that were a part of the secrecy had tales to tell.
I honestly rather the way there's no supernatural stuff in 4. It focuses the plot around rafe, easily the best uncharted villain, and it makes the end feel so good. I feel like supernatural stuff would've screwed it up and just changed the antagonist at the last minute, from an interesting character to just a beast, essentially. And the swordfight: 10/10
i played the first two games on my ps4 after 13 years. The wait worth it. I still need to play the other three (by three, i mean the spin off with Chloe).
This was my favorite installment of the series 3 was really cool, too, just because we got to play as young Nate but I liked the treasure, settings, and mythology of 2 the most

Shambala is top 3 in chapters for me but it’s a huge shame it wasn’t longer like going from the sunny sky’s to the rainy flooded atmosphere to the cintimani stone room with that big battle between the guardians and soldiers
"Some of the most fearsome men in history have possessed only a fragment of the Cintamani Stone. Men like Tamberlane, Ghenghis Khan. If a mere sliver could bestow such power, what would a man become if he possessed the Stone itself." When I first played this game, I never thought about the repercussions of what Carl was talking about during this scene, but the more I think about it, the more I have come to realize how right he actually was. The Stone, or I suppose I should say, the sap from the Tree of Life basically allowed anyone who drank it to become virtually immortal. A simple sip was able to help Lazarevic heal from his burn marks. If he kept drinking that stuff, he would've become a literal god, living forever, amassing a fortune from the riches found in Shambala, and not only that, but rule over the Earth. This game did such an incredible thing for my childhood. It continued a franchise that has so far become one of my favorite gaming franchises of all time. I could play Uncharted a thousand times over and not once would it ever stop being boring. "Who's being glib? This is a marvel of human engineering." Oh my God, Sam hasn't seen anything. If Sam had seen the engineering in the Shamballan outpost where Schaffer's crew died, I have a feeling he might just have a heart attack. "Now, one we will use as a lesson, the other we will use as incentive to cooperate, you choose." "You want my help, you let them go." "THIS IS NOT A NEGOTIATION!! Who would you sacrifice, and who would you save. Want this one? You want to save this one? Or maybe this one? Hmm?" "You know what? Enough of this shit! Alright? Quit the theatrics! I'll do what you want." I love how this whole moment is a homage to classic methods of using intimidation tactics to get people to cooperate and do what tyrants want by taking someone that people love and using them as incentive. But Drake completely subverts that tactic by not falling for it even once. These games always undo the classic elements of storytelling by almost being fourth wall breaking and doing it so fluidly that you could almost call it dramatic and comedic at the same time.
