Absolutely amazing work. Perfectly captured the Wong Kar Wai look. Fallen Angels is the best film ever created. I do have one suggestion though, you could probably imitate the 6.8 mm lens look of Fallen Angels through post-production and see how it turns out.
just shoot as slowly as you can. I got a similar look shooting at 1/8 shutter speed, 24 fps. the choppier the better. ill be uploading a version that I've been playing around with later this week if you wanna check it out.
Well, I used an old canon DSLR with a custom firmware (magic lantern) that allowed me to shoot lower than 30 shutter. Now with my current build, when I want shots like this, I put my electric shutter on and take bursts of jpegs on 1/6 shutter and then just stitch it together in post.
This is the best video that captures his look on yt. Most people just focus on colour grading but you got the shaky cinematography down to the point

Holy molly I got a trip to my childhood. Thanks
Same this took me back to watching Fallen Angels in the cinema in HK back in 1995. The memories feel raw

How do you get a shutter speed of 8 at 700d in video? Because my minimum shutter speed for video is 30 and i can't get 8 shutter speed.
use magic lantern.
or shoot at photo mode burst at 8 shutter speed and connect the photos in editing
@@JaydeeAlberto Thank you for the tips😁😁
