- Ever wondered how the top players seem to have insane cornering speeds in The Grand Race to the point it is almost cheating?
Well just like in Initial D, The Crew Motorfest also has a gutter techniques which allows your car to achieve significantly higher cornering speeds! Mastering it will lead to consistent Grand Race wins!
Car used: Lamborghini Revuelto, Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo, Ford GT
The Grand Race is The Crew Motorfest 28 player PvP mode where you will drive across O'ahu in 3 different disciplines.

I don't think it has been any different in any racing game with damage off and online gaming with randoms has always been a horrible idea. Water's still wet too.
@DarkPatro56 Yeah, for some reason, people think Forza invented it or something. Did they not play other racing games. Heck, even Gran Turismo had rammers before GT Sport existed.

Its really effective once you get to grips with it. Its how i stayed competitive when i started out with the loaner 918 lol
Flowing with the current is also very effective when navigating the Grand Rapids.
Glad I'm not the only one to realize that immediately when playing. Another kind of trick I found is nos works better tapping it for 2 secs even at high speeds it's a lot stronger than just holding it down all the way.
I learned that trick from Burnout 3, it works in a lot of games too

@@kenaitwo I'll try, so for this trick OP mentioned, you want to use the NOS boost in short bursts
To do that, press the NOS button for 1-2 secs, then release it, and repeat

I was the guy in the lambo. It was my first time using the huracan, and I lost time using the Vulcan during the rain. Also, play on traction on sport and ABS, ESP OFF to specifically drift a little 😊. GG totally forgot about this race.

i swear the gallardo supertrofeo is the best car ever, i remember you using it in nfs rivals with that classic isad pink and it amazed me so much that i went and bought the dlcs for the game :) much love grandma :)

I like how these races turn from chaotic to skill based towards the end, taking the best turns and such
Now all we need is for Ivory Tower to add an AE86 to the game
Considering that Toyota is also on the game, is might be possible. Hope it comes with both a Street and Drift version.

This was in TC2 as well, really helped with gettting times in the Summit on most tracks
I think this vid has taught me that I shouldn’t quit out a large amount of the grand races I do when I crash into at the 25% mark or first corner
Just be quick on the reset button and you'll recover nicely

The Ford GT seems to spun out a little though, so this method seems to be best for AWD cars?
Yeah seems like AWD are better but RWD just spins out or slides too much even when your not on it that hard around corners
Aside from the AGP and Racing classes (Both classes have RWD meta cars), car races seem to favor AWD vehicles heavily in terms of meta picks in each class.
ST1: Ford Focus RS. (Although the FC RX7 is also meta)
ST2: Lamborghini Huracan. (Although the '09 Corvette ZR1 is also meta)
Rally: Citroën C3 WRC & Mitsubishi WRC '05.
R-Raid: Well, every vehicle in this is AWD, so...
HC: Bugatti Centodieci for Speed, Revuelto for Acceleration.
Obvious exceptions are bikes, boats, and planes. Otherwise, you won't struggle to find an AWD car that's meta.
@Blurgamer17 Bit of a under-rated pick, but the reventon is damn near identical to the Revuelto the only difference being less gears and longer gears

Been doing this for awhile, happy to see others are catching on, also another tip, only use your first half of nitrous ( blue ) as the upper 50% of the nose is stronger than the bottem 50%
