- Well i changed the damping making it possible to not use any EQ on the bass panels. what you hear has also no EQ on the recording since i used binaural mics (USE HEADPHONES OR IT WILL SOUND WEIRD) those mics pick up low end much more natural (extends lower). i am sitting on the couch with these mics in my ears and i removed 6 dB on 51Hz since that's a room mode (else we got way to much 51Hz). it might not even be (i am sure it is not) enough. i have to do this for all my speakers.
i did not play much with the tweeter and went for a simpler crossover of 18dB on the bass and 12 on the tweeter.

Great dynamic and lf clarity! Adjust midrange, make membrans 2-3 times taller and sell it as a kit. I would buy it.
thank you, downside is efficiency, but a matter of fact i set them up again since i somehow like them allot. love the lows and the test tweeters i used in the setup :) so im listening to them as we speak. only problem is... they are more work then others so, unfortunately they wont be cheap if i ever made a kit out of it

The transient response of low frequency is really good. I wouldn’t use woofer at all if I can get such a sound stage!❤
thank you, its abit to much for my taste :) but im glad it can.. it just gives more range if i want to play louder with a correct balance !

lots pf presence. Where are you cutting the tweeter off? I assume you have low pass on the bass panel? You said no eq...

@@joppepeelen so where did you source out your planar speakers. Do you have a link on how to DIY panel speakers. Currently i have the LRS+ with the rel t7x as subs. I really like the LRS+ but i wanted to do a diy woofer panel for the LRS+. Great channel

Mids were making something strange. Was hard to recognize a word
well i think its the lack off, the tweeter did not change , keep in mind that when using the binaural im sitting on the cough 30 cm away from the wall behind me :( comb filtering might add to that. but i agree. tweeter/midrange should have been much louder ! not so kuchj the 5khz to 20 but everything below
Too much damping for my taste. Misses airiness. But how much can you tell from youtube?
damping is less then before :) i bet it is the ratio mid tweeter vs bass. in my opineon to much low end. it makes it dull. i do love lows. but i like mids and tops even more hehe, and i did not achieve that balance i normally have
