Ralfy having a picture of Popcorn Sutton in the Bothy is like the greatest completion of a circle that I never knew I needed.
under rated comment haha
Ralfy, you have the best recording studio of any whisky vlogger on the internet.
By the way, love the portrait of Popcorn Sutton, a real character in an increasingly bland homogenized world.
Highly agree!
I thought the whiskey vault was the best studio on the internet.....I was hilariously mistaken
Ralfy AND Jeremy Siers!
Next-outside tour please!
Ralfy`s not stupid! Why, he`d have all sorts of people ransacking his palatial manx bothy. ✋😗
That will be in at least another 10 years...
@@tonewheel1773 in a small village, on island? I'm sure all people around knows him already.
You have a unique outlook. Good luck with that. 😁
@@aleksjj ..There are a some not-so-small villages on the Isle of Man, you know
Thanks Ralfy! Started watching 6 years ago & I've been wanting a tour the whole time. Definitely not disappointed!
So that is the nest from where the precious whisky information comes! Thanks for sharing :)
This is the most wonderful bothy I have ever seen in my life. But actually I have never seen another bothy.
😃😄😅🤣 SAME!
First bothy tour for me too! If I ever get to visit Isle of Man, I will take a real tour of a local bothy.
I suspect they made and installed Ralfy right along with the building itself o.O
@@grbadalamenti scotland has bothies its a scottish word
Thanks, Ralfy, for giving us a behind-the-scene view of the bothy you have shared with us all these years. Lang may yer lum reek!
Malt Mates, It's well worth doing a Google Earth satellite view of The Isle Of Man where you can see the bothies. Cheers Ralfy. You are a true sport for letting us have a little snoop.
Thank you for sharing with us. I was having a not so good day and when I realized you were taking us on a tour of your famous bothy, it made me smile. I sat down and with a glencairn in hand I enjoyed every minute of it. I was always curious about it. What a great studio/man cave. I think that old building might add a point or two to any scotch sampled inside it. Thanks again Ralfy!
Hello Dear Sir and happy whisky Wednesday! Just love the bothy. Thank you for the tour. Actually I was quite surprised. It was bigger than I imagined. Authentic - just like its occupant. ☺️. So interesting to see what’s behind the curtain. Have a wonderful day!
I can see the headlines now, Scottish whisky and fitness enthusiast discovers alcohol-fueled fungi that magically solve the world’s energy and food crises 😂. Thank you for the tour Ralfy! Lovely to see the authenticity of the setting for so many malt moments.
Thanks for the tour Ralfy. Good set up you have there. Keep up the good vids. Thanks for taking the time. All the best Pete.
Thanks for taking the time to show us around. I've been curious for years what it looks like in there. I hope one day to have a quiet dram with you. I appreciate your work. Take care.
That’s really a lot of care and thought put into creating your own unique space. Well done, Ralfy!
Thank you for showing us this unique and iconic place for your interesting reviews. I am always enjoying it watching them. I really like the way you look on the business and whisky itself.
What a great little mancave to hang out and enjoy drams in. Thanks for sharing.
a wonderful cozy atmospheric little bothy!! thank you so much for sharing. i have always wondered what it looked like.
Thanks Ralfy! I have been curious about your set up for a while and finally stumbled across this video. Keep up the great reviews!
That takes man cave to the next level! Really amazing little spot you've got there. I can see on a cold day hanging out with the fire, a good cigar and a whisky to ensure you keep warm. Thanks for sharing Ralfy.
I've spent so much time in this bothy watching your videos that it's been a real pleasure to get the tour. I had a big, silly grin on my face the whole time. Cheers.
Love what you have done with the place! You have made the perfect environment to match the task at hand!
That is a gorgeous stove. Congratulations again on 10 years of making many people’s lives better! :)
Thanks for tour. Being a bit clueless, I finally googled Bothy a couple of days ago and got a bit of an education on what they are and where they could be found. Now I can appreciate your reviews even more. Thanks again for sharing.
Thanks for the tour Ralfy, a very historic and rustic building, right up my alley, cheers my friend.
Loved it, thank you so much for sharing the space. I'm envious.
Very nice, Ralfy! Thanks for the tour. I've always wondered what the rest of the Bothy looks like.
Thanks Ralfy! the Bothy is everything I imagined and more. Good tip with vodka in the casks, I got a used cask a few years ago and it dried out and split
Thanks for the tour. Makes us feel like we know more about our friend that brings us interesting information about our passion.
Here's a toast to another great 10 years Ralfy! Tx for the great content these past years!
I know this is an old video and Ralfy won’t likely see this but as a man from Appalachia I’ve gotta tip my hat to Ralfy for having a picture of Popcorn Sutton on his wall! One legend paying respects to another! Good on ya Ralfy!
Very interesting, you have an authentic 'water of life' ambiance there Ralfy, you are a complete Nerd.
Skyrim belongs to the Nerds!
Great to see where the magic happens! Thanks for sharing Ralfy!
Finally! Very nice cozy bothy. Excellent place to sit quietly, enjoy a dram and think, meditate, read or whatever.
Friggin Popcorn, what a legend. I love and respect that he is in the bothy.
Very nice place mate! I would love to live on the Isle of man. So much history and culture. Thank you for your reviews and enthusiasm. You should have a contest for a wee dram of your whiskey. Cheers mate
Thanks for the tour Ralfy, loved it!
Thanks so much Ralfy! What a seriously cool environment.... I love that it has some "Angel's Share" on the walls. Also the new stove - I always thought the old fireplace was almost too old. Fantastic... And it smells like a dunnage warehouse! Brilliant... I think that calls for a wee dram :)
after 6 or 7 years of viewership, I happy to see you've reached this milestone. congratulation!
Been watching for years. I enjoyed that. Thanks!
Loving the black fungi decor. It's everywhere around Grants in Girvan and over on Arran at the distillery too.
Ralfy, this was great. I've been waiting for years to hear more about the bothy and see the rest of it. You've got yersel some nice neo-classical chairs as well.
I love the fact you have a picture of Popcorn Sutton on your wall!!
May his tales ever be told
Lovely to see the tribute to old Popcorn - also very interesting to see, and have you discuss your whole attitude to tasting and environment! Thanks Ralfy!
Very cool indeed! Thank you for sharing Sir!
That was awesome ... thank you Ralfy. I've wondered about this since I found your videos. Lovely little place
Thank you Ralfy I've been waiting for this for years. Cheers mate, you're the best whiskey friend a guy could ask for.
Love the tour Ralfy, now I'm totally envious!!!
Thanks, Ralfy, I've been curious over the years. :)
Ralfy I really enjoyed your tour . Hi from Kentucky!
Thanks for the little tour, I appreciate it,feel right at home. Friends for life!
Rally, best bothy man cave ever... thanks for sharing
Thank you for the tour, Ralfy. May we get an outside tour of Manx as well as your walking path someday? You live in such a naturally beautiful area!
That must be very nice tasting spirits in the fall time when snow is starting with the fire going on, the aesthetics are perfect
Love ya Ralfy! Thank you for soooo many hours of enjoyment in my life! You couldn't have a more perfect set, by the way.
Very cool to see after all this time! Great atmosphere! 👌🏼
What a wonderful setting to enjoy an occasional dram!! Sadly here in the US most building never have a chance to develop any where near that much character and charm. Before most get anywhere near that old someone either tears them down and builds something new, or completely remodels them so that there's no sign of their original charm left. I love old buildings, so enjoyed the tour of the bothy all the more. I'd love a tour of some of the rest of the property some day.
Thanks for sharing your bothy. Very cool! I suspect your bonnets will sell out quickly. I’m certain there will be a worldwide interest in owning one as a tribute to you for all that you’ve done for us. Cheers, mate!
I did enjoy the tour. I always wondered about your surroundings. Cheers!
Thanks for showing us your personal accommodation , Ralfy. very interesting indeed!
Wow just after you told of the whiskey mold forming I checked back to your older videos and realized how different the walls used to look!
Thanks for taking us behind the scenes 🙂
Thank you for showing us your amazing Manx bothy what a privilege ............full of lots of amazing malty moments
It's a Manxters paradise
I love bothies. Must have visited more than fifty over the years, even the famous Secret Howff! Favourite has to be Coiremor way out by Strath Mulzie. Cheers for the swatch aroond, Ralfy!
I’ve watched through the years Ralfy. Love the Bothy Tour & your “cozy” little dunnage warehouse design. Sláinte, Malt Mate!
Thanks for the tour. Haven't been watching for a while, as my wife doesn't want me drinking at the moment (was dry all of 2018!) But hopefully I'll soon once again be able to enjoy a "glass of something nice"
Thank you for the tour! Can't wait for your next review.
Yes interesting. What we all need is a 3D 360 model of the Bothy so we can all sit with our VR goggles on and share the space...visually at least.
love it!
now here's a good business idea for you Ralfy. Each month or however often have a live whisky session, where the chaps can do an VR tasting with you in the bothy.
First application where smell-o-vision would actually be useful
This is a wonderful video. Thank you for sharing the Bothy. We folk in the states would like to purchase your own. Great place your Bothy,
Awesome!! Thank you, Ralfy!!
I've been long awaiting a tour of the Bothy. We don't have anything like that in the states. Being part Irish, I wish I did have a place to smoke my cigars in front of a nice fire. This was really interesting, especially the way you re-created the brewery warehouse. Very cool idea!
Wonderful atmosphere for sipping a wee dram in Ralfy! Rich history as well, if those walls could talk.
lovely video, the picture of Mrs. Poppy on the wall make the cherry on the cake..! i wasn't expect him.... cheers from Mtl.!
Awesome! Thank you, Ralfy. I feel like I'm now privy to some sort of secret. Great place for all things whisky.
Awesome Ralfy! Thanks for the tour! I bet people (ourselves included) would love the opportunity to buy a bottle of whisky that has been aged in the Manx Bothy! I remember you saying some time ago that you're the proud owner of a cask or two. Why on Earth aren't they ageing in the Manx Bothy!? I realise it wouldn't be called Scotch but we'd all still buy it!
this was fantastic! Worth the wait. Superb bothy. You're an inspiration Ralfy!
Worked beside you for a couple of months many years ago. I’m thoroughly enjoying your vids, keep up the good work😜
I’m glad to see it was exactly like I pictured it and not a ‘set’ when you spun the camera around. Sláinte!
There you have it, now you know! Great tour!
that was brilliant! especially with the casks that actually contain alcohol and allow the fungi to grow!!
I've been waiting so long to see this! Thank you!!!
Thanks for the tour!
Ode to Popcorn! Ralphie is a man of the world. At one time hurling at ludicrous speed across our Salt Flats and now shares his world in the bothy. My lass says, "Bring back the paint pallets!"
Great to see Ralfy...Well-done mate.
Girls, this is what men call cozy.
Got it ?
Great tour Ralfy. In the 5 + years I've been sub'd to you I've always wondered what the bothy looks like. Now show us the outside too!
Thanks for sharing with us. I, for one, have always wanted to see the Bothy. In my opinion it's the best place to showcase your reviews. Fits the channel nicely. I am interested to see if you can review the Ardbeg bottles you have sitting about the place. Thanks again for sharing and taking us along on your journey. Cheers
Great tour!
Easily the coolest place to enjoy a dram. Love the Popcorn Sutton frame! He's buried not too far from me.
Been waiting for this one, Ralfy. But I’m in work so will have to wait till I’m home and off duty to pour a dram and enjoy. Much love, malt maestro. x
Best of your videos ... ever! Nothing better than behind the scenes.
That was great Ralfy. Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks for sharing the bothy.
Very interesting indeed! I am an Ardbeg 10 go to junky! I have learned a lot from your videos Ralfy, thank you for that. For years and years I thought you were saying "Buffy". Now I know it's "BOTHY" . . . lol ;)
such a nice place for tasting whiskey. I am at the beginning of making a heritage family whiskey from my great great grand father down and of the town were we all lived. The recipe that i am using is from the early 1900's in Appalachia.
Thanks Ralphie I always wondered what the Max bothy looked like , I believe I first found you in 2011 you were filming in the kitchen. Really enjoy your content 😅
That's a good idea with the vodka in the casks. Finally someone found a use for it, well that and for cleaning tables with.
I am not disappointed - the Manx Bothy in classic warehouse glory, wall to wall. This will reward repeated views, I believe. Rich atmosphere.
Thanks, ralfy. I’m curious to see the structure from the outside. Cheers!
Thanks for sharing, Ralfy.
I smiled when I saw that portrait of Popcorn Sutton, a kind rebel and provider of many epic memories and hangovers, for the people who imbibed on his spirit(s).
