The cup cakes looked good I didn’t know you could use chia seeds as an egg substitute . I also don’t know if you know but to use chia seeds you need to bash them in a pestle and mortar or blender or you don’t get the full health benefits. Another great vlog, I’ve just watched the Narrow Escape episode where you were on the tidal Thames. There can’t be many bunnies who have done that journey and had it recorded for prosperity. Just watching you on Narrow Escapes - You can get a thing called a 'Happy Hoodie' and its a special snood sort if thing for animals to help keep them calm

@@lordbelvoir2543 to be fair we don’t mind the CRT on the most part. They do great work and the staff and volunteers on the ground are mostly brilliant. They’re definitely not perfect though and management seem to make some questionable decisions

If you enjoyed the scooter vibes you should check out swifty scooters as they do kick or electric foldable scooters that would in GG easily, they are so much fun on the canal paths and nipping thru the city 😉I saw one of those lil food delivery robots last year and was just as intrigued as you both were 😂🤣 it was wandering down a dual carriageway on it’s lonesome looking so cool 🤣😂🤣🤗🤗

The reduced mooring times are questionable, all we know for certain is that there is no penalty in any legislation or bylaw that refers to it, any charge for overstaying would be a civil matter and definitely cannot be added to your licence fee or your licence refused renewal because of any outstanding charges. FOI states that no one has been charged fees for this unless they were not told by CRT it was not mandatory, those who declined were not taken to court.
I have a horrible feeling that the CRT are going to be changing the rules about 2 week mooring spots a lot more to 2 Days,the Canals and Rivers are getting busier with people moving onto the Rivers and Canals,CRT are pushing up prices going by length and there is a lot of talk about Diesel Engines being Banned,as well as Solid Fuel Fires.
Boat prices have gone ridiculously high and it all points to a lot more boats and not enough moorings.
I have a sneaking suspicion that CRT are going to be insisting on ALL Boats having a permanent Mooring rather than there being constant cruising soon.
Now is the time to be thinking about getting rid of Boats with Diesel Engines and heating systems and the Solid Fuel fires while you can get a decent price for your boat and then investing in a Electric Boat that is going to be the Norm very soon 🤷♂️.
There isn't anything in an out-of-date cake mix that would give you stomach cramps.

We were going to, we were waiting for him to finish up, then another boater was chatting to him and we waited, but when we looked back he was gone so we just moved the boats up anyway 😊

those robots are a bit nightmare on the redways, nearly been taken out serval times by them turning in front of my bike, as the algorithm has developed more they pause less to make a decision....still, pretty cool

Can I ask why you didn't speak to the guy chaning the sign and find out what the deal was instead of just filming him ?
At first he was talking to someone else, so we waited inside as we just assumed he’d knock on and explain. Next minute we looked outside and he’d already gone.
You saw the crt bloke and moaned about him not knocking on...so why didnt you go and ask him????
We got the clips of him, then he started talking to another boater so we waited inside as we honestly thought he was going to knock on and tell the boaters on that stretch what was happening. Next minute we looked outside and he had gone so we just moved the boat up.

I think you're on Channel 4 tomorrow Wednesday 15/05/2024. Narrow Escapes 🇬🇧. The reason that they lifted the heavy weight,was the boat became a lever, and lifted the mooring. Physics in action .

What happens if you overstay your mooring? is it like a library ticket where the fine goes up the longer you digress?

You could challenge the "We was here before it was up" and that you didn't notice it because you don't pass it and no one officially informed you since you started mooring under the 2 week agreement spot. This is something to ask the trust about to see what they say. But you guys did the right move of moving for the peace of mind.

I use 1/2 a mashed ripe banana to replace 1 egg in a recipie or 1 tablespoon in golden syrup.

I think the sign change is the switchover from winter to summer rules in busy locations. Don’t think the CRT would have called you out as they had clocked you as already there before the sign change, but an explanation would have been nice.

Someone else said it was always 2 days but the signs were lost/removed for some reason! Hahaha yep Amy had great satisfaction in destroying that! 😂

You normally get an email warning but I think if the sign explicitly says they charge for overstaying you probably get one straight away!

In most places that claim themselves as democracies, laws can't be enforced ex post facto. I wonder if that would apply to CRT rules. If you moored before the 2-day rule went into effect, they shouldn't be able to make you move. But obviously, I don't know how those things work, maybe CRT is above the law. 😅
