Hi Tatyana! I made this last night and it was every bit as good as I anticipated! I also wanted to say that, following your recipe I got a renewed sense of the attention to detail that you pay-all of the information that goes into just one of your recipes, the nutritional data, the fact that you include metric measurements-I cannot think of a thing you left out and I cannot imagine the hours you pour into your work. It is clearly a labor of love, and we are the beneficiaries. It was a frigid cold evening here in the East, but we were warmed to our marrow by the gift of your inspiration and creativity. And I could only do this creation justice because of the lengths to which you go putting your work on RUclips. So grateful Tatyana-forever in your debt 💜
Hi Chuck. Your comment made my day! I'm so happy you and your family enjoyed the mushroom stew. It's been a favorite of mine this season! I truly appreciate your support! All the hard work would be in vain if I didn't have such great subscribers who trust my recipes! Thank you!
I love it!! This is TDF!!! You've outdone yourself again, Tatyana! I cannot wait to try this. I love the idea of the variety of mushrooms and frying them separately. Saving some to scatter on the top also sets off the dish-not just its looks, but the flavors. And a creamy stew is impossible to beat. Thank you so much for helping to create the most congenial of winter nights. Best to you always-you are so gifted!! Have a great weekend 💙💛
Thank you so much for watching! :) I'm so excited to share this recipe. We've been enjoying it for a few months now and it never gets old! The smoky bacon adds so much incredible flavor. I hope you and your family love it, too! Have a great weekend!
Sorry I took a break from commenting on your videos Cant wait to make this soon for me can i use tofu / vegetable stock and skip wine as i don't use alcohol at home i love mushrooms soooooooooo much i never had the best creamy mushroom stew with bacon before perfect for my after office meals
Thank you! I actually didn't think about that. I usually use fresh mushrooms, but I'll have to try adding some dried ones next time. Thanks for the idea!
Tatyana looks very delicious I don't care for mushrooms but I would love to try this recipe. Are you from Ukraine i just have a vibe that you are. and you got me as a new subscriber to your channel sweet friend.
Welcome to my channel! I am from Ukraine! My family immigrated to the US in '89. The smoky bacon is key for this one! It adds so much incredible flavor to the mushrooms!
Good Day Chef 🇺🇦🧑🍳. MMM MMM MMM, Would you mind if I substituted Hen of the Woods for the Shiitake.? Because that's what I have 🍄. I think a few skinless chicken thighs buried in there would be fabulous, bone 🦴 in. Hope you enjoyed your holiday break.! Now go toast up a nice baguette 🥖 maybe a little Stilton/Butter spread.!? Have a Blessed and Beautiful Day 🇺🇸✝️🇺🇦📖✌️💞🙏🥖🥀🧑🍳
Good morning! Yes, if you have hen of the woods, that would be amazing! I wish our grocery stores had a larger variety of mushrooms. I'm a huge fan of wild mushrooms, too. The chicken would be a fantastic addition, too. I had a great holiday season! I needed a little time off before diving back into filming, but I'm happy to be back! Thank you for watching and have a great weekend!
@@TatyanasEverydayFood Hi again Chef, I have a question about some regular white bread 🍞 I made. I baked 2 loaves and left them in the pan to cool off on the rack. After they cooled I noticed the bread looked like it collapsed. When I took it out of the pan a thin layer of "crust" crumbled in my hands. The crust layer separated from the loaf. The loaf was a little dense and crumbly. Good for croutons and breadcrumbs.Any opinion.?? Thanks 🇺🇸✝️🇺🇦🧑🍳🥀
@@edward2448 Hi! Oh, no! Sorry the bread didn't turn out well! The first thing I would recommend is taking the bread out of the pan to cool; the crust will be nice and crispy on the outside. I think this might be the reason the crust pulled away. The heavy and dense aspect of the bread could be from not enough proofing, or too cold of an oven. Maybe try proofing for longer next time. The dough may have collapsed and settled if the oven wasn't hot enough. What temp did you use?
@@TatyanasEverydayFood Hi again, Thanks for the reply. The bread more than doubled after the second rise. After it cooled it collapsed on itself like a Souffle but the thin layer remained like a "dome" . What was odd is I used the same dough to make a pizza and it was great. Airy and crispy like bread dough pizza usually is. Baked some onion 🧅 parmesan cheese sandwich rolls yesterday and they were good. I did get some fantastic breadcrumbs out of the dense bread. Have a Blessed and Beautiful Weekend 🇺🇸✝️🇺🇦📖✌️💞🙏🥀😘
