What a team they are. The renewed vigor in nest improvements proves that spring is in the air.!! Love how Jackie overlooks Shadow as he works and adds her own touches to the mix and then tests the fit lol. Their pride in it really shows the commitment they have to each other.
I love watching them work together moving the sticks when they are too heavy! Shadow is really trying to get the nest to look snazzy! He keeps looking over at Jackie as if he wants her approval or to see if she is watching all of his hard work. Its as if he is letting her know that he is ready for daddy duty and the fluff on the bottom is building up nicely so that when a egg would get there it would stay protected and keep the underside of the eagle body warm and protected also. Shadow really gets off on this work. And it's funny when he comes back to the nest alone and is working he is always glancing up as if to see if Jackie is near by or can see him working. Ahh I love these two so much!!! Come on Jackie!!!! Eggs please!!!
Wow! Look at all that water in the lake! Wonderful! Amazing the noise is from water falls! These two are so charming in their domesticity! What can it be other than preparing the babies' room? Jackie trying out the fluff for size. Still some work to do! Keep at it Shadow. I think you're convincing her! If anyone can do it, you can! Lately, it seems Shadow is keeping real close to Jackie, leaving to follow her right after she takes off from the nest. Love to our precious eagles!❤❤🦅🦅
Totally love the rearranging of the fluff. Shadow is really doing the best he can to make the nest as comfy as possible. Jackie you are one lucky girl.
I think Jackie 🦅 is pleased with shadows house cleaning 😅 he so loves his sticks!!🪺 Praying for another clutch 😊🙏 thanks Cali these recent clips are so clear they are postcard beauty's 😂🌲💜💙
Very encouraging signs. A second clutch would be uncommon given the circumstances (the first clutch was incubated for over a month). However, as long as they continue to exhibit nesting behavior, there is a chance. 😊
TY @Cali Condor for continuously posting these videos allowing us to follow Jackie and Shadow❤. The last few have given me renewed hope in life and reminded me to not feel defeated nor never give up when life throws me curveballs. My hope for Jackie and Shadow is a much deserved 2nd healthy clutch. I am learning to TTE... It's watching Jackie working diligently with Shadow in rebuilding their nest esp when she tested the nest bowl, that gives me hope for a 2nd clutch. Her bond with Shadow is so deep and awe inspiring. ❤
Sending viable clutch vibes to these two!!!! They faced some harsh weather with the last one, weather should be getting nicer so maybe it's the perfect time for them to have another clutch! Shadow is a wonderful eagle mate! Jackie is blessed
All things seem to be pointing to a second clutch! Yay. I really think the unseasonal weather extremes affected the last one (that’s just my personal thought) ❤️🦅🦅🇦🇺
Watching them aerating the nest when the eggs were there looked very wet to my eyes. I'm thinking the extreme cold with all that wet fluff made for an ice block coming from the bottom and that no matter how long they sat on the eggs, they couldn't keep them warm. Seems they are working hard now on restoring a fresh, dry bedding of fluff... so, fingers crossed for another possible clutch and success. I love these two!
I agree about the weather! There really wasn't much fluff there last time but I see he's getting it in there now! If he puts a bunch of fluff in there it should help to incubate and keep them off the nest flooring
Shadow was sweetly intent on making sure the bowl was comfy, I'm glad Jackie did test it out, if ever so briefly. We will just keep watching to see what God has in store for these love birds. I have a question that I hope someone can answer: what is the noise I hear all the time that sounds like running water? Is there a stream underneath the nest tree?
The area got over 200 inches of snow this season and quite a bit of rain. Local streams will be raging for awhile. Hope that will help with the lake level, which is 100% snow melt fed.
@@silvermainecoons3269 It’s my take on ‘doubting Thomas’. In a prior clip Cali did, I thought Jackie wasn’t interested in doing another clutch and said so In a post. She seemed interested in this evening clip.
Yes, the IR light usually stays on until morning. 💡Our nest is illuminated by IR (infrared) light at night. The light is not visible to the eagles/humans, it is only visible to the cameras. Why the eagles cannot see it➡bit.ly/3klors9
Shadows done everything short of laying his own eggs. 😆
What a dad!
great way to phrase it
You are so right! Many women hope for a spouse as dedicated as Shadow! 💞💞💞 I don't want them disappointed again.
If it was Christmas, I’d think he was making a manger! So nice that Jackie showed her appreciation by sitting in the bowl, even so briefly. Sweet.
😂🤣😹
Omg. Shadow is so much into her. The understanding they both have for each other. The way shadow takes care of her is awesome ❤❤.

If he could, Shadow would tuck a chocolate under Jackie's pillow. Jackie is his queen.

I love watching them. They are so smart and funny. Shadow is a silly but a serious character. And Jackie well she is just plain beautiful ❤️❤️
*Let's pray these are good signs!* 🙏💕
Thanks Cali Condor!
Wishing you and everyone here a very Blessed and Happy St. Pat's Day! 🍀💚🌈💰🍺☘️🤗😻

Let's get it on by Marvin Gaye in the backround would've been a nice touch!!
Fingers and talons crossed 🤞
Thanks Cali 🌷💞
Amazing how Shadow is making the nest with warmer materials. What an amazing pair 🥰❤️ working together.
This is so pure and sweet 😌
All is good in Big Bear now! Love this couple 👑🦅💞👑🦅
Thanks so much Cali🩷
Prayers for another clutch ❤️❤❤❤
That backdrop of this nest is spectacular. I would love that view ❤🦅
❓They *_BOTH_* seem interested in the nest past dark (usual roosting time) *_PLUS_* that nest is starting to look extra comfy !!! ❤💕❤

@@CaliCondor I've wondered what the statistics are, percentage-wise, of having a second clutch if the first doesn't work out.

Can you feel the Love 🎶🎵 Between these special two 💘
❤So excited to see what will happen in the next few days. An amazing team and beautiful species.
What a wonderful day! Visits during both morning and evening chat!
And Jackie oh-so-hesitantly trying out the nest bowl at 14:07 - truly special!
Thank you for sharing
Awww they really want eaglets , I wish they could adopt the eagles would be so lucky
Awww maybe we will get lucky and we will have more eggs 🦅

You can tell that there have been warmer days with the amount of snow that is gone.❤
If these two gorgeous fur babies could talk, we’d learn a lot about relationships and staying together from them!!! 🤗😍🙏🏼🫶🏻💁🏼♀️
Just a heads up. Eagles don’t have fur.
Wonderful - thank you 🙏

Those are some nice big sticks he’s rebuilt with.
Looks like we might get a second clutch ❤
They are so sweet (and sometimes so funny) together.❤❤❤❤❤
Treasures of the heart..❤
💞
Such a lovely couple!!!
They are a blessing, to all of us who are enjoying peeking in on these two! Will they lay eggs again this year?
🤞🦅🤞❤️
Watching them fuss around the nest the song that came to mind was Carly Simon's Anticipation..particularly the chorus.
🥰
Oooooh! . . . Th nest is now full of fluff and really looking poofy. Shadow is working hard and Jackie’s watching!!! 😮.
The odds of having a second clutch after the first set of eggs went full term are extremely rare. But I sure hope so!
Thank you for sharing the awesome eagles live stream. It is so great!!
So excited to be able to see them at the nest again
OMGosh this would be great - Better weather too. Here’s saying eagle prayers they have a second go at it.
Pipe in some Barry White music. Works everytime.
If they have a second clutch, it won't get as cold this time!
Fingers crossed! 🤞🌞
Holy...Moly..I'll say!!!
They are just so sweet.
❤🦅....🐣🐣( maybe)
So regal and majestic ❤

I have a question that I hope someone can answer: what is the noise I hear all the time that sounds like running water? Is there a stream underneath the nest tree?
Hi Jacqui, The mods said that there is in fact, a stream due to all the rain and snow melting near the nest.

@@gabbytmb Thank you!
@@CaliCondor Thanks, Cali, that stream must be raging, it was so loud from so high up. Indeed, we hope it helps the lake level.
Has anyone else seen the younger eagle that hung out nearby the other day?
‘I’ll show that doubting Thomasina a thing or two, doubting ME wanting another clutch’, thinks Jackie. Sorry Jackie, my bad.
Who is Thomasina?

🤣
It would be great to see them mate then we could be sure, of course maybe they did out of camera range
I believe they have mated at least a couple times already! Fingers crossed for a second clutch! 🥰
@@creartsyivy I haven't seen any posted and I check Cali Candor and Baiba who post everyday
@@creartsyivy I agree. Looks like they've mated for sure once, and flirted before that.
