Gabriel is taking the central stage here through the entire chapter as he speaks and explains everything that will happen in the last days. I am so happy to have Gabriel and Michael on our side because there is no one else on our side besides Yeshua.

"the Prince of Persia which withstood Gabriel" in Daniel chapter 10 indicates that there is a spiritual "Persia" (Prince of Persia).
I believe that has something to do with the interpretation of this text as well as others in the Minor Prophets.
Here is wisdom and understanding; we must buy the power of the Holy Spirit be able to discern Kings and kingdoms whether they are earthly or spiritual in order to properly understand the full context and the meaning of every text.

6:18 - The person speaking in the first verse isn't Daniel but Gabriel as it continues on from where chapter 10 finishes in verse 21.
Daniel 10:21 KJV - But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and there is none that holdeth with me in these things, but Michael your prince.
The prophecy in Chapter 11 is 'that which is notes in the scripture of truth'. Then Daniel 11:1 Gabriel continues telling Daniel:
Daniel 11:1 KJV - Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I, stood to confirm and to strengthen him.
This is Gabriel who strengthens Darius, just as he strengthens Daniel in the previous chapter 10.
Daniel 10:18 KJV - Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,

Prophetic continuance is histrorisim.
And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: 👉I have appointed thee each day for a year.
{Ezekiel 4:6}
After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days,
👉each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

Must be where Crowley rephrased and took upon himself the, "Do what thou wilt." Trash that's permeated music for so long. Makes sense. I don't understand why it's thought that studying out of early scholar's work, esp. for certain passages, makes Biblical sense. We know that there are some passages that God will only reveal understanding as the time draws nearer. Sometimes pastor's are confusing.
Interesting..but little confused as well, why there are multiple interpretations to this chapter..Also , I am doing a comparitive study of what the people of India (especially the southern part Tamil Nadu , Korkai) who were having trade with Greece (as mentioned in Tamil Literature ) would have been doing with respect to understand the true God at this time...Archiealogical excavations proved there is no idol worship at this time..quite encouraging..have they part way with Noah's descendants and able to maintain that God is light.... and later on got into hero worship and got converted into idol due to mix with Aryans (from persia region..?)...it will be quite interesting to know what happened to rest of world during Daniel period..I will try to sum up from India perspective..
What bible translation is he using?
Just so you understand, the kings of the south and north, are not Egypt and Syria.
Wow, in one point you are wrong. Daniel 11, 1 there is not Daniel speaking and telling, it's the angel Gabriel, who is talking. And the angel told to Daniel, that he (the angel Gabriel) was with Darius in his first year to strengthen and empower him. That is really clear. ^^
From Daniel 10, 20 all the was through und to Daniel 12, 4 is online the angel Gabriel speaking and he tells Daniel all the things, which were yet to come.^^
No prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
The 11th chapter of the book of Daniel is not a departure from the prophetic chain fround in that which is taught in the 2nd, the 7th, and the 8th chapters.
After this I saw in the night visions, and behold *a fourth beast* [Pagan Rome] dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another *little horn* before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the *eyes of man* and a mouth speaking great things.
{Daniel 7:7-8}

Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be *the fourth kingdom* upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
And the ten horns *out of this kingdom* are ten kings that shall arise: and another [Papal Rome] shall rise *after* them; and he shall be diverse (claiming authority over church and state craft; the spiritual sword and the temporal sword) from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and *think to change times and laws* and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
(Same dispensation of the time of the Gentiles; and the time of the two witnesses.)
But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away *his* dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
{Daniel 7:23-26}
