"Balance" Wow - I have a degree in neurosci but never thought of balance as a "sense" - it definitely fits the bill though! My mind is blown! O_O Can't believe I missed thinking about it like that! I guess I've always clumped it in with acoustical sense.

@Pantiesboo Stardadized tests would be a fine thing, provided there are standardized students. The problem is that students are expected to measure up to a standard rather than helped to find their true abilities. For those who cannot the best they can hope for is a diagnosis of some description. Dyslexia, ADHD, etc. Children are not standard units. They are unique and should be treated as such...
@hannaremnant The IB? Just started that....it's painful, but it depends on how oyu approach it; and it IS meant to be very demanding, by the end of it you have a huge foundation for everything.

It's weird how people keep wanting to "get to know me" or figure out what the right things to say to me are, and I'm just like, "well, who are you, and what are the right things to say to you? I'm not a mind-reader any more than you. Tell me about yourself and what you want and I'll tell you about myself and what I want."
