2:25 gave me an idea. What if it’s the same concept of back and forth moving lasers through a small tube/passage. The strength would build up inside of the handle. To give it the authentic feel of retracting and expanding, a mechanism will retract and expand the lasers passage way. I’m probably not the first to think of this and haven’t worked out the kinks, but it might just work
