Watched it just to see how the gears attach but happy to hear a pro enjoying a basic plane like this, I bought mine as a cheap way to get back to rc planes, hopefully :)

Impressive looking little airplane. I was really worried about all those light poles everywhere wondering which one you were going to crash into, but then I remembered. It's Steve. 😊😊😊 Thanks for sharing this awesome looking airplane Steve.
I like how you reflexively know that comment was wrong and retrograde, so much so you felt the need to call out any who might not like it. Really shows how cool of a guy you are.
Stability should make it really easy to hand launch over hand. When I first learned how to fly rc I was told when the plane is coming at you to point the aileron stick at the low wing.
I have version 1 (my only RC plane) and I could fly it right out of the box, no trouble at all (but I do fly FPV quads, so not exactly a novice). Had never even flown a plane before. The stabilisation makes it super easy. I made the mistake of buying extra batteries…I think the most I ever used was 2 before getting tired of flying, it goes forever 😂
Well done Captain; what a "capable" RC and....looks like just over $200 AUD; I think I will get this; the Insta 360 is a great Camera and can make any RC look very "cool"; speaking of cool; the Sky, at approx 4.51 on the video was absolutely beautiful !!!!
Remembers me of Nine Eagles series (Yak & Extra 300) airplanes in 2014/15. But these small planes are very difficult to fly because of the wind... So i decided to buy RC factory SU 29 1.2m ... But because of space problems at home i could never build it. 😂
Based on this review, I just picked one if these up from Banggood, was just over 80 USD with 3 batteries. Livery red and silver. I'm a novice plane flyer but yes, this one was a lot of fun! I crashed it probably a dozen times in an hour, into the ground, into a soccer goal, no damage at all. The prop flies off when you crash, just push it back on and go again. I think I'll buy one more for my son so we can do dog fights 😂❤
Yep. Larger planes are easier for Old Dodderers with poor eyesight and slow reflexes to control. They also generally crash less. (The first crash is quite often the 1 and only crash!) These little toys are twitchy in "Expert" Mode but easy to fly in the stabilized modes. Also the durable foam (unlike E-flite beer-cooler foam) and light weight give you a lot of inexpensive crashes' worth of training while on the way to your Tom Cruise wings! 😉😊
I recently picked that one up and haven't had a chance to try it out yet. I am still looking for a good place to fly, your place is a little far for me to go. I am looking for something in the west end.
A couple of features you missed. There are range and low battery warnings plus DSM and S-bus satellite receiver sockets on the flight board for Spektrum and Futaba etc addicts.
Il problema di questi aerei è che in decollo tendono ad andare a sinistra ed in volo principiante devi sempre correggere la traiettoria perché porta sempre il muso su
I just purchased this plane. As soon as i find a place suitable I will fly. Thanks for your informative videos.
Hope you enjoy it!

Why i like captains videos because, its very realistic, cinematic, compared to other vloggers just like a feeling of star gazing from a afar.
Wow, thanks!
Please remove the term Cinematic from your Vocab. It's now just an Over used dog whistle term.

Probably the most concise review on those little airplanes I have seen 👍🏻
Thank you!
These planes are sweet, durable and fly forever on a single battery.
Excellent video. Nice RC Mustang plane. Thank you Steve.
Glad you enjoyed it
Thank you for this great instruction and review. Just received mine yesterday. Hope to try it today, if I can brave the heat.
I always liked the looks of the P51. This one is small but seams to fly well. Thanks for the review. 👍👍😊

I can't imagine what your garage looks like 😳. Awesome review 👏.
Ha ha, I honestly don’t keep much of what you see on my channel as I have no storage space.
@CAPTAINDRONE798 what do you do with the ones you don't keep?

Nice RC Plane and review Steve.
Good afternoon captain nice plane cool review
Hi Steve...Nice review. It looks very stable for such a small plane........👍
Wow i really like that idea with an action as base cap to record VLOS. I gonna try this ...
That seems to fly great for the size
Cool lookin' plane...

Nice Steve, enjoyed your review and even going the extra mile by adding the Insta 360. Very cool,
Glad you enjoyed it
Fun video ! 😃
Captain Drone videos always make my day!
Glad to hear it!
wow another great review steve.
Thanks 👍
Very cool! Hmm, so that would likely be able to carry a small 5.8ghz fpv cam and battery, like from a tiny whoop.
I like the set up

i have the Me109 and it flys great. I cut the landing gears.

I have the p-40 can the zero aircraft fly with the p-40?
I have that plane...I was cracking up with the camera on her..lol
HI ... another sic vid
NICE AND FUN What is mini cam attached on RC plane?
I believe the link to the camera is below the video (I use the camera on all my RC planes)
Hi Steve i have the version 1 and it's awesome, how does the V2 differ?
More modern looks wise, more detailed, wheels snap on/off, different flight controller. Flies much smoother.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 👌
I have tried a couple of these small airplanes before and I'm not very good at flying them. I was wondering if larger airplanes are easier to fly ?
Yes, somewhat. Check out my review of the FMS Ranger

Hey Steve, have you ever looked at the Volanex Ascent 1400? Looks like a good choice for a total beginner. Thank you, new subscriber, Anthony
I have flown a few Volantex planes but not that one.
Nice review 😊
Thank you 😊

Hi Captaindrone does exist airplanes with rth? 😅
Only if they have GPS in them
Ok thx
Pretty surprised to see that it was able to take that Go camera up in the air :-)
Got the 'old' Red Tale version from Eachine.

Anyway you could do a video to land one of those warbirds
I’m known for my plane & drone landings 😂
@@CAPTAINDRONE798i did not know 😂 i just have hard time landing this plane.
Just bind it to your Radiomasyer TX16S and you get extra range 😉
But you'll lose sight of it before that 😂
Cool👍👍😄😄😄😄😄😄
We are going to have snow here in Calgary soon but mine may arrive beforehand. I hope to fly it before the snow hits.
Winter is coming
Never flown a plane, look fun though.

I had v1 if this and it was great till it went flat in the air and got blow away by the wind
With such small and fast models and a radio range of only 200 m, they can quickly be out of radio range.
It would be difficult to see beyond 200 meters
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
No fun without Tractor Man :(
Tractor man was getting his blades sharpened
My depth perception is off. I can't navigate that obstacle course you fly. I once landed my Opterra into a single goalpost in the middle of a park.
I feel for you. I’ve done similar landings.
I have a mini plane
